Perfect for a conversion of a cheaper older bike
These worked great, I learned about measuring the forks, not the old hub shafts. And I learned that for a bike to 'convert' well, the forks need to have indentations for 'safety' to keep the shafts on better.

Have been a good working replacement for my NorthRock XC27
I had my rear wheel replaced at my local bike shop last september. In January, the axle broke. It was a $100 replacement wheel for a $350 bike so I wasn't expecting much. I found out that this wheel had many loose spokes. I bought this replacement axle to get the wheel back in action and I trued the wheel to get it straightened out. It's been almost two months with no change in my riding style and it's been holding up. If the axle breaks, I'll update the review. Update: It's like I jynxed it. It broke 3 days later. Don't bother with Amazon for bike parts. It's never worth it.

They Fit fine
They Fit fine, I used them to make a stationary bike and it worked well

Not standard quick release axles...
These are not standard quick release axles. These are 3/8" x 26tpi front and rear axles, which are normal for most bolt-on (nutted) axles. Quick release axles are normally metric: 10x1mm rear, 9x1mm front (diameter x thread pitch). Not recommended if you need to mix & match axle parts or fit specific frames/forks. Might work if you're converting 3/8" bolt-on to quick release. The description is misleading and could lead to problems down the road if using these in place of the proper size for your standard quick release wheels.

Most front bicycle axles using a skewer are 9mm O.D.
Most bicycle use a 9mm axle. I needed a 108mm length x 9mm outer diameter. The front appears to be 9.3mm. It does not fit the wheel or the front fork. Shame on the seller for not specifying the outer diameter, and she me on me for not inspecting closer. Waste of time and money. Now to go find what I really need. Not happy.
