Yes. Turn wifi on or off and can pair with and remember multiple networks. I use the wifi to automatically upload to flir ignite.

Where is the parent company of flir located. i it looks like they were bought out by dahua a chinese based company in 2018?

FLIR sold their Lorex business to Dahua in 2018, Dahua does not own them r have an interest as far as I know. I believe Hughes aircraft owns an interest in FLIR but not sure how much of one..

Can this camera be taken into temperatures above 500 degrees

You asking if the camera can be in a 500deg environment? Then I'm gonna assume No.. but if you asking if it can read and take photo of items 500degs then yes Depend on what model your asking about but c3-x max range is 572°f and c5 model top temp is 752°f

Will this detect amole that is under a few inches of dirt in my yard?

Hi, thanks for your question, our cameras can only detect surface temperature, an important concept to keep in mind when using our cameras is emissivity (how much radiation is emitted from an object), as long as the object you want to detect emits enough energy to create a temperature difference that can pass through the surface between the camera and the object and for the camera to detect it, it should be able to see it.
