They are a good, lightweight linen material and are very slightly sheer. Just wear your skin tone colored underwear and you’ll be totally fine to wear anywhere. The length is also good for me, I could take another half inch, but I’ll take it! I also often have issues with having pants waists have a gap while being tight on my hips (34-26-38), but these fit like a glove because of the stretchy waist. The legs are wide from hip to hem which is so comfortable. The only draw back is that a few threads have popped out on the seams/buttons, but it’s a minor annoyance.
