The Manscaped Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra is an excellent grooming tool. I’ve always had an issue with thicker hair in more sensitive areas, and this trimmer handles it very well. It trims very close to the skin while still feeling safe, thanks to its protective design. I’ve used it several times now, and it consistently gives a clean, even trim without irritation. Compared to other trimmers I’ve used before, it doesn’t leave that uncomfortable, prickly feeling when the hair grows back. It’s also very efficient and easy to use on other parts of the body, making grooming quick and convenient. Overall, this tool has made a big difference in my routine and even boosted my confidence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and skin-friendly trimmer.

So far I'm loving this Lawn mower 5.0. Definitely the best quality of recent models! I like how you can adjust the lighting now. Comfortable to use, not too heavy or light - premium weight. Unsure how the battery Life is because I charge it after every use, but no problems as of now. With all that being said, I am skeptical to how long this will last. Ive owned multiple of the Lawn Mower 3.0 and 4.0, yet they would always stop working over time. Really hoping that issue has been fixed with the 5.0, because this brand is the best for manscaping! (When it works)

I’ve tried a few trimmers over the years, and this one stands out. Every man should have one in his grooming setup. It’s easy to use, feels premium, and does a great job trimming without pulling or irritating the skin. The design makes it comfortable to handle, and it gives a clean, confident result every time. Battery life has been solid too. Definitely one of those products you don’t realize you need until you use it. Highly recommend!

I want to start out with thanking Manscaped for sending me a replacement foil head attachment. Manscaped does a really good job with marketing and advertising and personally I like the scent of their products. As far as reviewing the lawnmower 5.0 as a body hair trimmer that is safe for scrotum and groin, this trimmer is good but could be better. The 1 hour run time is nice, but compared to say the Beardscape V2 with a 3 hour runtime and a little more control features and the power to clear more hair in less time and effort, it doesn’t sound as great. The blades and trimmer clean easily enough under hand soap and tap water. With skin and hair clean and dry (do not attempt to trim wet body hair on the scrotum), the trimmer performs adequately to shorten hairs when used properly with the flat edge flush to the skin. The foil head attachment differentiates the 5.0 from the 4.0 and is where this review can get a bit critical. You have to make sure you carefully and gently are removing and installing the heads when swapping as the foil head attachment is prone to breaking. This is not a hefty or sturdy feeling trimmer. Ensure the hair has already been trimmed, cleaned and dry before continuing to use the foil head to shave closer. The foil trimmer is a potential bacteria risk so you must ensure proper cleaning after each use with likely canned air, shower head on blast, and soak in rubbing alcohol diluted in water. I appreciate the attempt of an electric trimmer with a close shave attachment for a closer shave on the balls and I believe the lawnmower 6.0 will be designed to do this even better. I mentioned the beardscape V2 a couple times and I do believe compared to the lawnmower 4.0 its a superior electric body hair trimmer, however it does not attempt to be an electric shaver. The only electric body hair trimmer that does attempt to shave the scrotum that I have used is the Philips Norelco Bodygroom 7000 and that trimmer feels about as flimsy and low powered as it can get. Still, I would actually recommend the Manscaped Beard Hedger for a multipurpose trimmer over the lawnmower series and the crop shaver or the plow 2.0 for shaving the scrotum (I have safely used the plow 1.0 for years for this exact purpose with no issues, Manscaped just will not recommend this usage as its a potential liability).

Well I’m suffering from ED and for you senior men out there struggling with this let me explain why a high quality shaver for you privet parts is important. At our age sharp implements like razors near your man parts is risky. You could go into the shower as Bob and come out as Nancy. So if you’re looking vacuum pump you need to clear the furry obstruction so the devise has a proper seal. This saver is first class works wonders and cleans quickly.

Okay, I normally don’t write a review before the 6 month or 1 year mark. But, this shaver has been astoundingly remarkable. I mean, it’s beautiful, easy to use thanks to the built in light. The battery lasts forever. And it really is excellent at cut protection. I tested it out thoroughly and was/am really impressed. Faster overall cut sessions, cleaner shaves. The case (that includes more fittings) has a black on black which I really love. It really is worth all the hype. I’m in love.

Positives: this thing is as skin safe as any close trimmer could possibly be, almost to a fault. The battery life is respectable, and it is easy to hold onto even with wet hands. The light was a nice touch. It is very easy to clean. Negatives: it’s expensive, and I really would expect it to work better because of that. I don’t have particularly thick/challenging body hair, and this thing misses hairs often. It works better if you manually stretch out the skin, but you can’t do that everywhere, and you shouldn’t have to. Since this thing is designed for trimming hair in areas where it’s difficult to see, you need to be able to trust that the job is getting done, and you really can’t count on this thing. A lot of times you have to trim one area over and over again until you find just the right angle, and even then it’ll still miss a few hairs. It has drawn blood a few times, but I chalk that up to the fact that I will attempt things with this that I wouldn’t with a regular trimmer. In addition to how difficult it is to actually get an area fully trimmed with it, the power button is in a really stupid place that makes it reeeeeaally easy to accidentally turn it off when gripping it in ways that make perfect sense for how it is used. They also claim that it is powerful, but my experience has not backed that up. The micro screen close shaving head cut the hell out of me so I’ve only used it once. I really think they rushed this thing to market too fast, and are charging way too much for it.

I’ve been using this trimmer for a few weeks now and it’s easily the best grooming tool I’ve owned. It cuts clean and close without pulling or causing irritation, even in sensitive areas. The battery life is great and I like that it’s waterproof, so cleanup is quick and easy. The built in light is surprisingly helpful for seeing what you’re doing. It feels sturdy, comes with useful attachments, and works just as advertised. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re tired of cheap trimmers that snag or die quickly.

Yo tenía el modelo 3, y después de 4 años de uso dejó de funcionar; asi que decidi comprar la mas nueva y para mi sorpresa, tiene cargador USB C, un estuche de viaje QUE SI sirve y accesorios que garantizan que puedas rasurarte el nepe y el guayabo sin lastimarte. Es muy posible irritarse la piel, pero cortarse como lo podrían llegar a hacer los modelos anteriores es simplemente imposible. La otra cosa que se agradece bastante es que se pueda prender y apagar la luz en la afeitadora. No es la herramienta de trimming perfecta, pero se acerca bastante.
