This is a piece of garbage. Do not buy it. They are NOT all the same. The tape sticks to the metal piece that runs under the roller and will not pull loose when you want to roll out another piece of tape. The cutter is positioned so that when you tilt it on an angle to cut the tape, the corner of the cutter tears into the box. Half the time once you have managed to cut the tape, instead of staying threaded (and stuck immovably to the metal plate) the tape flies backwards and has to be rethreaded resulting in more loss of tape. It is awful and useless or I would not have bothered to write this.

Have used this for a while, finally just going to junk it and get a nicer one. I never bother leaving poor reviews so this is really saying something. The metal piece on the bottom is unhinged, which causes the tape to constantly fire back and stick on the roll, wasting lots of time and tape with rethreading. Yes it works, and you can avoid the rethreading sometimes if you hold and use it *just* right, but the amount of money you're saving with this inferior product is not worth it in the long run. Nobody but me is even able to use the thing because it's so finicky.

Wonderful tape dispenser. Helped packing boxes fire our move easier. Loved how it was adjustable to hold the tape roll on. Had some issues with the tape getting caught but this only happened when we had cheaper, less sticky tape in the dispenser.

What a great deal. The quality is a little less, but for a home user who uses this kind of tape very rarely, this is a bargain deal and time saver! I love this thing.
