Very durable. Very hard vegetable have to be cut small. I cut carrots it cut them but the fat ends struggle with it needed my husband to push down handle. Same thing with the celery root still trying different ways on how to put veggies in & deciding stand or lying down before cutting. It’s easy to use & the price great. I will need to update after this review after I use it more and try other vegetables and fruits. Clean up was easy it comes apart easy and the company provided gloves to protect hands from the blades and brush get areas your fingers can’t clean. The suction cups on the legs hold well. Hope this helps someone else.

I bought used including only the 3/8" blade for about $40. It's very well built out of heavy duty aluminum with stainless steel slides and the few screws stainless. It's very robust and functions smoothly and I'm confident it will last along time. It requires significant but not unreasonable force to get a potato started, which is all I've cut so far. I think it's quite a good value at what I paid but I've found even better since so wouldn't choose this with the options I found since. It came with one singular spare blade for use in repairing the cutting blade when necessary. I expect that to be a long time from now. I found the 3/8" blade is larger than I prefer for French fries (my main use) and exhaustive searching for replacement blades found a 3 pack of 1/4" blades for $34 as by far the best deal. I still haven't found the singular repair blades at a reasonable price. During my search I did come across this exact same model with 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and I believe 6-section blades included new at a 4 letter site for around $50 and the next better version with a long handle for leverage and the multiple blades for less than $60. Overall, even with the $34 investment for 3 spare blades I'm content with the value due to the truly industrial build quality and function but I recommend anyone reading this to both look at used options and check both sites for the upgrade I mentioned available as of 9/28/2024 for a really exceptional deal.

Saves me so much time making dog food! I have 5 dogs that I make healthy homemade food for. It would typically take me literally 7-8 hours of cutting vegetables small enough to steam and mush, but now I can get everything done in half the time. The blade is sharp and durable, it's easy to take apart and clean, and it's well made and easy to use. I wish it had more blade sizes to change out but you can buy those separately as well I believe

This worked very good. I realized that after I received it that I had the 1/4 quarter inch cutter and I need to go to order a larger one otherwise cutting was easy and good with it.

I cut the vegetables (i.e.: carrots) about 21/2 inches long. If the vegetables are too long they will break and get stuck in the blades. If you do so, it works wonders. Be very careful when washing the blades. They are sharp. I can cut a very large bowl of vegetables with 5-10 minutes at the most.
