I have spent a lot of money on supposedly indestructible toys that were destroyed almost immediately. One of my dogs has bitten the end off of several large black Kong Extreme toys with no difficulty, but he has not damaged this ball in any way even though he has chewed it vigorously. It is small enough to be easily caught but big enough that they are unlikely to choke. It has exactly the right bounce to be fun but unlikely to contribute to injury from erratic movement or jumping.What I appreciate the most is it is soft enough to not harm the dogs' teeth. I have received strong cautions from my veterinary oral surgeon to never use even relatively hard toys of any kind with the power-chewers; the criteria is that if the thumbnail can't make an impression, the toy is too hard.
