Reasonable for a garage... given the right approach
This heater seems rather weak as far as heat and airflow, but I am actually surprised how well it works in a garage. Granted, those using it in a greenhouse seem to find it too weak for their use, but I don't necessarily agree when used in a garage. I am satisfied. My garage is a standard two-car with three insulated walls: Sides and back. The back wall is attached to the house. The sides have outer walls that are out in the weather. Also, there is minimal insulation within those three sides and they are dry walled within the garage. My overhead door is double-wide metal with no insulation at all. That being said, good luck bringing a sub-freezing garage to a reasonable temperature in a reasonable amount of time with this heater. You'll need luck. HOWEVER, it's a very usable heater and at its best when maintaining a consistent temperature within a closed garage through the highs and lows of days and nights. I have been able to maintain a constant 50 degree temperature in the garage with single digit outside temperatures at night. Of course, i brought the garage to 50 degrees prior to sub-zero temperatures, but it maintains 50 degrees at night even when the temperatures are near 0 F.I don't understand or use the internal thermostat, since it isn't calibrated and has no temperature setting markings. Instead, I "max it out" (fully clockwise) and use an external, digitally controlled thermostat. Near 0 degrees Fahrenheit, the heater runs most all the time, but it will actually maintain 50 degrees in the garage. When it's warmer out, the heater will cycle on and off periodically (via the external thermostat) to maintain the temperature within the garage. If you have reasonable garage insulation on three sides (even if the overhead door isn't), and you don't mind keeping the garage temperatures around 50 degrees or less in sub-freezing weather, this heater WILL work. That is, provided you go into the coldest temperatures with the heater already maintaining the desired temperature within the garage. I am referring to a double garage. I suspect this heater would work even better in a single garage. Be sure to use a programmable, external digital thermostat with the one on the heater turned to the max (unless you understand the use of the built-in thermostat).Assuming a kW/hr cost of 15 cents after taxes applied (typical in the US), this 1.5 kW heater running 24 hours straight would use 36 kW/hr So, for each 24 hours of use, it'd cost you about 36x.15 = $5.40 in electricity.

Product would not stay on.
Purchased 2 of these. the 1st one I ordered had a thermostat with it. Ordered on 10/11/23. Was told it would not be delivered until 12/6/23. That wasn't going to work for us, we had a cold spell happening. So I ordered the same one without the thermostat & it was sent the same day. Plugged it in & all was well, for 2 days. Then it turned off & did not come back on until moved. Then only stayed on for an hour, then turned off again. No problem, I thought, the other one with the thermostat had just arrived (earlier than expected). Plugged it in & it worked.... for 1 day, then turned off. Moved it into the house to see if the fan would even work. NOTHING!!! I picked it up & set it down & it turned back on????? Then it turned off again.I read somewhere that the company had a "bad batch" of heaters. Well, this was a bad batch! Both made in 2023/01. Tried contacting the company, they are asking things on their "issue page" that don't exist. Like a serial #. No where on either unit is there one??? So if I don't input a serial #, I can't send them a request for help. Thank goodness for Amazon!!! They helped me out. I am still losing money, as "the return window" was up on 1 of them. So I have to pay to return that!!!!

When you need to warm an unconditioned space like a greenhouse, these babies are tops
Compact package, meshes into a controller (not necessary but gives good overall temp control. W/O the controller, you have a dial that gives relative degrees of warmth (but it is all relative and you still need a thermometer to see where you are). Together these two parts keep a 10 x 20 ft greenhouse warm all season (outdoor temps ranging from 20 - 45 nighttime). At 20 degrees I use two which gives a more rapid response. Holds 50 degrees down to 20 degrees outside. Rugged heater, 1500 watts, I use dedicated 15 amp all season ground fault receptacles. 15 amps for each. I have owned 3 over the past decade, all three still function. Two at a time, rotate them annually using two controllers. Great results.

Well-built, effective heater
I bought this to keep some plants warm and a pressure washer heated over the winter (so I could use over the winter as I don't have an indoor heated storage space. I used it with one of the Eagle Peak greenhouses sold here. The heater is very substantial, well-built, quiet, and puts out a lot of air (and heat). I was surprised by how well it worked. By itself, the heater maintained the space +/- 5-7 degrees F, temps also increased during the day with solar gain. The heater, by itself, didn't account for this so the temperature range increased +7 degrees F during the day.If you're ok with a daily temp variance of 7-15 degrees F when used around freezing (hasn't been really cold here yet) then you won't need the extra digital thermostat. But using the optional thermostat provided an amazing level of accuracy. I measured +/- .3 degrees F using a sensor push remote thermostat over several hours time with it. Photos attached. First one without, 2nd one with the thermostat. Can't comment on the longevity because I've only had it a few days, but I think it will last many years from the way it's built.Definitely recommend. Only 4 stars because of the wide temp variance without the optional thermostat. If you need precise control definitely get the thermostat.

Great small greenhouse heater
This is an excellent heater for small greenhouse spaces. I am in zone 6a/b with a 12’x12’ greenhouse. This heater on its own is not enough to keep the temp up and keep all my tropicals happy but I have another small heater to “assist” on the opposite side and a couple of amazing Woozoo fans to keep air moving. I wish the directions to program the thermostat (didn’t realize the one I ordered came with one so I ordered a different one) I can’t figure out how to program a heat range using the Bio-Green thermostat but that’s the only thing I am not 100% pleased with. Might go back to using the Digiten thermostat that you can easily program a heat range. Overall though this is a really good unit

Worth every penny
Extremely sturdy and quiet. The thermostat is handy. Able to heat comfortably a 20’x20’ insulated shed and is very economical to use

Broke on the 2nd day of use
I wish I could say more about performace but i cant. As my Heaters element stopped heating on the 2nd day of use in mid november. - and because I purchased it on sale in the summer i couldnt return it past the 60 days. It does have a warranty so I contacted manufaturer, after going through their trouble shooting it was deemed broken. They agreed to replace it no problem. BUT.... They didnt have any others in stock, so now it is mid January with a polar vortex -29 and they still do not have any in stock to send me.Needless to say, after losing some plants to frost damage on the 2nd night, and now having to run a little space heater as a back up all winter, what was the point of the initial purchase??You would think given the sensitive nature of this equipment to keep things alive, they would at least have a reserve stock for such time sensitive warranties. Not impressed

very practical and handy
Handy to use in the cold winter here in Canada. I'm using it for an outdoor maintenance room on my balcony where furnace and water heater are. It's constantly on for the long winter. Hope will last few winters.

Looks Fantastic
Love this heater so far. It does seem to take a few minutes to heat up,with the index coils but quality seems good. The warning tag on the cord does say you need to plug it into a standard wall outlet, and not an extension cord, but I ask you, who on earth has a wall socket in their small greenhouse? This could be the standard heater tags that come with all heaters. I will have mine on a quality thermostat with monitoring thermometers.
