As for the looks, they are absolutely gorgeous!! The red pedals with the chrome pins looks so sharp - not that people see that when you're riding, but hey, it's the little things right? Also, the fact that they are a bit tapered at the ends is exactly what I was looking for (concern 3). And the aluminum aspect of it I think is awesome. They're lighter than my expensive-ish nylon pedals on my Mukluk. By that, I mean for example, when you try to make 'em spin by slapping one side or by using your garden hose when you're washing it, they don't spin much.
