Although it is not as compressive as a real faja, it was very decent and provided nice smoothing. It is pretty breathable and not uncomfortable under clothes in the summer. It has only one row of clasps under the zipper, so no sizing adjustments are possible. I ended up sizing down from a large to a medium (190 lbs, 5'8", 43 inch hips). I have struggled to find a faja that covered my full torso since mine is longer than average, even for my height, but this one covers right up to my bra line. The gusset worked well for peeing and otherwise remained comfortably closed, but I needed to take the whole garment off to do anything else. Reasonably comfortable for shapewear.
