An excellent book on insights into Joan Miro
This book is an excellent study of Joan Miro's creative process. The book is an easy read and surprisingly enjoyable. The selected writings and interviews are in Joan Miro's words, translated of course. There are a few pictures of his work but not many. If you are interested in seeing his work, Taschen's book, "Miro" by Walter Erben and Hajo Duchting has beautiful reproductions.

Miro
A good collection of Miro's opinions, sprinkled with a few original writings. I personally hoped for more writing/poetry and less interviews/letters. The collection was mostly compiled by Miro chronologically, and those familiar with his life will probably get more out of the interviews and letters than I. His poetry however more than makes up for the rest and is reminiscent of Dali's "Oui," which I highly recommend.
