Was on a long ride once with friends and got a flat. The small pump k had at the time decided it didn't want to work. Got home, threw that one away immediately, and bought this one, which is what my friend (luckily) had to fix my flat. Bought a few since then as gifts.

Small but robust. Easy to use. Pressure gage is good quality. I've been using the pump for more than 3 years. Great value for money.

I was in need of a portable pump and didn't want to spend $40-50. I stumbled onto this pump and I'm glad I did. So far, I've had to pump my urban bicycle 3-4 times and it has performed well for my needs. The quality is above average compared to those found in stores like Target and Walmart (I'm not sure about specialized stores like REI and Dick's Sporting Goods). Especially at the low price point ($15). The weight seems right, not too light to be flimsy and not too heavy to seem cheap. The pivoting mechanism to bring out the (metallic and solid) foot peg was great. I love how strong and seemingly unbreakable the foot peg is. The size of the pump is perfect for my needs. It's not too small and not too big. I can put it into my hydration backpack or mount it onto my bike. My urban bicycle tires' max pressure is 65 psi. I didn't need that many pumps to get to 65 psi. My only significant minor issue is with the difficulty of inserting and removing the nozzle head. Even though I only need to use it 2-3 times a month, it's a hassle and exerts a large amount of stress on the fingers One suggestion to make it better is to have 4 small tabs on the ends of both sides of the nozzle head. Another suggestion is to use a thumb lock lever like the one on the Topeak JoeBlow Sport II floor pump, which they call a "TwinHead". Using this over the screw/unscrew method would make this an almost perfect product. The only other item I would slightly improve is the elastic band on the mounting bracket used to secure the pump to the mounting bracket. It requires some work to secure and unsecure the pump on the bracket. Neither issues are deal breakers for me. But I can see the nozzle head difficulty being a deal-breaker for some people.

By far this is the most portable and economic air pump that I have ever seen. Lightweight, very efficient, and easy to use. The most impressive part if the cost and quality. Great job, Amazon. The good keeps getting better!

Yes it does pump air. No the gauge doesn't work on presto valves. This pump makes things more difficult than they need be. Yes I know how presto valves work. But as others said, it's a pain screwing it on and it loses air as you unscrew. I couldn't pump more than 40 lbs into a 90 lb tire. It's for emergency use only. Don't expect to fully inflate your tires. I prefer the snap -on type pumps. Returning this.

This pump is the ideal little portable to carry with your bike. Easily connects to both types of valves and the gauge is accurate and easy to read. Foot petals and handle fold out nicely to make the pumping easier. I like mine so much that I bought a second one for my nephew as a present.

Haven't been able to get it to work. Might work for an emergency flat but if you need a regular sit-up get a full-sized one, not this basketball inflator.

The nozzle is cumbersome

Poor build with flimsy parts. Does not help when hitting the high psi.

It does 50% of that what it should do. The gauge is not working and the over all quality is a bit cheap for such a brand.
