Great little vacuum
Great vacuum for a great price, small and lightweight, easy to use, it vacuumed wet sand up with no problem, the vacuum itself feels real durable but the one bad thing I can say is the attachments don't fit well, they fall off pretty easy, it's like they just don't fit together properly, other than that great battery vacuum

Very powerful suction! Works amazing
This is a great vacuum, I was hesitant to buy it . But the reviews that I kept reading were just to positive. I'm very skeptical taking others word for something, but the price was so good , I figured it would be an easy return if it did not live up to its build-up... This little hand-held cordless vacuum is amazing, first things first !! It's powerful, very powerful . We both use it all the time for every type of clean up , from the car to garage floors , household cleaning , spilled sugar on countertop, it handles it all. We had a used Dyson V-8, that I had a Dewalt adapter for it .. it died finally. So I got this to hold over , until i could afford another higher priced vac. But this is now the new permanent cordless vac in this household.. I suggestion, get a couple extra of the white filters , they can be wash and dried, keeps you working. And get a couple of the foam filters that slip over the pleated filters , makes them not clog so quickly.. get one !!! You will be converted like me .

Trips Milwaukee battery's warning lights
Functionally, it works. But you shouldn't buy one of these, at least not for Milwaukee batteries, as it exceeds the specs for the batteries. As soon I run it, if I then press the battery-charge-level button on the battery, it flashes. Milwaukee doesn't share the meaning of the error codes, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that it's drawing more current than the batteries are designed to handle. Vacuum cleaners are kinda famous for pulling a lot of current as they spin the motor up. Given that the batteries cost more than the unit, you'll be better off paying for one that has a proper current-limiting startup circuit. Beyond that, note that the seller claims it's "protected by a US Patent". That's true, it is. But the patent they cite is a "design patent", which just covers the look of the thing. So all that patent tells you is that nobody else is going to be able to legally sell a vacuum that looks just like this one. It doesn't tell you that the workings of it aren't infringing on somebody else's patents. If you don't mind chancing the battery light, it works pretty well for most things, but I got it specifically to help pick up some of the crumbs from the composite decking that I work on. For that, it struggles because the hose outflow is very close to the filter, so these crumbs (which are long and stringy) clog up quickly. Emptying out the bin is not really a hassle, unless you're having to do after 30 seconds of vacuuming, like I was. If it's just sawdust or something, it'll not clog up like that, so YMMV. Finally, this thing works okay on the less-expensive "Compact Power" battery line from Milwaukee (used in drills, for example), but it runs a whole lot better on the high-output batteries designed for circular saws. But given those batteries start at $150, it's not gonna get another taste of mine.

Perfect for the car!
Love this! Bought for all those small projects around the house/car. Works perfectly in the car with the different attachments. Suction is great. Easy to empty canister. Lightweight and easy to carry.

Gives you a heavy duty cleaning.
Had it about a week, put on a milwaukee 12 amp hour battery. Runs for about an hour- ish. Great suction and real easy to empty the dirt & hair. We have two Choclate Labs. Labs seem to lose a full coat of hair daily per dog. This hand held vac is pretty sturdy. Plenty of included tools for the price. The owners manual does not list any parts availability., that's why I only gave 4 stars. Its likely a throw away. I use aftermarket Batteries that hold up very well.

Like it. Have 2.
Works great in my wood shop. Bought a second one for cleaning stair carpet and other things upstairs. It appears just like the real DeWalt outside. Don't know about inside.

Not properly configured for Milwaukee batteries.
This vacuum is very powerful and there is no problem with the suction and it works very well. However, after you use your Milwaukee batteries with it, the batteries will no longer fit well in your Milwaukee product. The pins were misaligned on my batteries after using them on this. Now when I try to use them the fit on my drill is so loose that my drill will start and stop. I had to buy new batteries for my drill. In addition, the batteries are drained very fast on this product, if you get 5 minutes of run time you're doing good. If they supply a high capacity battery with it they will have a great product.

Not MAKITA Quality
I have had this for over a month. Although it does a good job vacuuming, the unit isnโt very sturdy. One of the tubes has cracked as the material is very thin. I repaired it using glue and a worm drive hose clip.

Great suction, bit more noisy than the original
I already have the original DeWALT vac, just received this one and tried it to clean the living room, around 10 minutes and the 5Amp battery still has 2 blocks juice. It's exactly as the same with the original one, but this one has more accessories and comes with one extra HEPA filter. Bettery little heated up but i was not sure if this was also happening with the original vac, just noticed this since i read from other reviews. I'm totally happy with my purchase as i paid less than half the price of the Dewalt.

Great product so far.
Only just received this product but impress to date, it is louder than expected but that is to be expected as it sucks really well. As per other reviews I would highly recommend buying filter covers to protect dust and large items getting stuck in the filter as it does take time to get these clean again. Or buy spare filters so it can be swapped over and the wet one can be left to dry.
