Chose these for my daughter who has really long and really curly hair. Normal hair ties tend to get tangled in her web of curls, but these scrunchies are perfect for curly hair as it doesn't tear her hair out when being removed like the usual hair ties did. The color of these are pretty versatile, can be used with any number of different colored outfits, and you get a selection of colors to choose from, but that would be more for lighter colored outfits. All in all, these were more for the hair texture than it was to find ties in colors that would match everything, and these are perfect for my daughter's hair texture. I'm sure we will be circling back to acquire more as the cats living in our house think these are toys, but not a big deal as the cost is pretty on point too.

These ponytail holders are my new favorite! They are smaller in circumference than most ponytail holders we have, and they are thinner as well, but they have a good amount of stretch! I have medium thick hair - my ponytail is about an inch thick, and I am able to wrap these 3 times with a good snug fit.The material of the bands is gentle on my hair, and the colors are appealing to me. I don't think we will run out of these anytime soon, unless we lose them!

I actually really liked these handmade hair elastics that sell 50 for approx. $10 which is so much more affordable than getting similar items at Shoppers, and they're not your run-of-the-mill black hair elastic that everyone has and is hard to differentiate to whom it belongs to.The elastics come in subdued colours that do not fade. The elastics rebound to their original shape after use so they don't hyperstretch where you need extra loops to keep a ponytail together. I have worn them multiple times and they do not pull on the hair, don't get tangled in frizzy tresses and hold a high ponytail in place for many hours. If you do want to wear it on your wrist, which is what I do whenever I let down my hair, word of caution as because it is thin it may leave a mark and start feeling like cutting off circulation, however not as bad as some generic brands so I didn't mind it as much.There were 5 different colours in the set for a total of 50 elastics total, on average 10 elastics of each colour however I had 11 dark blue and 9 light blue but it did not matter to me. So far these did not break for me and I've tried stretching them quite a bit.

This 12 pack of hair elastics comes in a round plastic screw-top jar for handy storage.I took a photo so that you can see the entire contents of the package.3 of the hair ties are simply plain sewing elastic, tied in a bow (see bottom row in my photo). The raw ends of the elastic are not finished, so I think they will unravel over time.One of the hair ties is just an unadorned nylon loop, but at least there are no raw edges (this is the one in the bottom right corner of my photo).One of the beaded hair ties broke immediately the first time I tried to use it. In my photo, that's the blue one under the top row of salmon coloured hair ties.The elasticity of these hair ties is strong. They did not get stretched out and weak after one use, like some elastics do.I deducted one star because one of them broke right off the bat, and also because 3 of them are just lengths of sewing elastic tied in a bow. The remainder are very pretty, and all of them have strong stretchiness.

They’re not too big but they still stand out because of the design. They work really well for thick hair and they also stay in place on silky hair. It doesn’t hurt to take them off either - unlike those elastic bands that we used before. I love that they don’t lose their shape too quickly. It helps that it’s a set of 12 so we don’t have to keep reusing the same piece. Overall I love this set of hair ties.
