A game worth playing everytime
Yes as you might say this is another praise Prince of Persia game but I got loads of good reasons behind it. I lost my original copy of this and as I was playing Warrior Within (POP 2) I thought how did the Prince learn some of his original tricks so I re-bought this and now I know why. First of all it's one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2003 but it never catched on with the public but why is that, I mean look at the game the original which is included has become the basis for most platforming games essentially it's the original platformer. Now take a revolutionary twist and add loads of style, flare and wit and you got our hero the new Prince of Persia. The story is the best thing about this game taken from an arabian tale but make it more exciting and add in the graphics and sound and it's easily one of the top games on the PS2 and it's beaten by it's sequel. So get this game if you like hacking, slashing and puzzles otherwise just rent

POP sands of time
This game is very good game. I have only just recieved this game and during the first level there wasn't very many enemys to fight. But that is really the only bad thing i have found so far, 1 thing that makes it really good is that you have to think at some parts to complete it.

Such a good game
I was a little skeptical (having come from a world where I play nothing but Tomb Raider, Sims 2 and GTA) but I was really impressed. not just by the challenges and the voice acting but the story as well. The game had a very good plot. The graphics could have been better. Some of the cut-scenes are like something out of a 3D movie, but the actual gameplay could have been higher quality, but I'm not sure how good the graphics could have been when it was made so maybe this is amazing for its time, but I don't know. Overall I would give this game 9/10.

fun game, challenging but not impossible
This game is perfect for me. It is challenging, with fight scenes that sometimes make you really work for your money. Storyline can be a bit cheesy/predictable at points, but overall, this is an excellent game and I would definitely recommend it.

Wrong item.
I was unaware that the disk inside was not Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time when I've given it to my friend. I was very annoyed, however, it was too late to return the item.

One of the best on Playstation 2.
Superb game play. Fantastic level design. The controls are easy to get to grips with. This game is a master class in 3d adventure platforming.

Posh and Whiny
Okay, everyone seems to be raving about this game and I would like to show a different side. Admittedly, at first glances it does look cool. The graphics are exquisite, the acrobatics are impressive and the game has the original idea of the rewind - allowing you to have another chance for those moments where you push the wrong button at the wrong time. However, I quickly began to find the game more than a little obnoxious. First, let's talk accents. I would doubt very much that people in ancient Persia spoke with posh British accents. The Prince comes across as a whiny toff, matched only in the annoying stakes by the stupid woman that he (inevitably falls for). However, it would be churlish of me just to criticise the game because of the ludicrous accents. Gameplay is, after all, most important. Unfortunately, this is what lets the game down. It is horrendously repetitive. Run along wall, bounce off, avoid trap, swing from pole. Repeat until you go insane. Oh, and then celebrate with a long obnoxious fight with the sand creatures, where you do the same three (admittedly kind of cool) moves over and over and over. The power to affect time makes life slightly interesting, but was probably stuck in there just because there are so many times where you die because of the frustrating camera angles that are constantly changing, or because you ran at a wall at the wrong angle. This game could have been something special. What a shame it is let down by being so repetitive and annoying. Oh, and wait until you meet the bloke with the Dick Van Dyke style Cockney accent. I hope to goodness that the game designers were being ironic. The alternative is too tragic to think of.

Assurdo. E' una presa per i fondelli.
