The defective three sensors registered with the monitor OK but when I screwed the sensors onto the tyre valve I could not screw them in sufficiently far to get a PSI reading on the monitor. The sensors are supposed to push down the tyre valve as they are screwed on but the defective three were not making a good contact with the valve. One of the sensors did fit as intended and I got a good PSI reading on the monitor for just one. The vehicle I tried to fit them on is a motorhome which of course has the same tyre valve in each of the wheels. Why one of the sensors would fit correctly but the other three would not fit is a puzzle. Clearly the fit tolerances in the sensor design needs addressing. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars In spite of a lifetime in Engineering etc. I ... *by J***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 January 2015* In spite of a lifetime in Engineering etc. I found this a little swine to set-up. Instructions sadly lacking in some procedures e.g. how to programme your trailer/caravan for only 2 tyres on one axle instead of all 12 tyres shown. I did eventually get it working ok only to find the following day that all the individual tyre settings had disappeared---brilliant !! It was start again time. I will persevere yet but it could be on its way back for a refund. The instructions seem to presume that you know as much as the person who wrote the instructions ! Watch this space. I will give it a fair try.Since writing the above review I have now had to re-pair the sensors to the Monitor 3 times. It seems that by switching off at the side switch (not mentioned in the instructions) it lost the settings---so, never switch off at that switch !!The device will go into sleep mode itself if there is no movement for 10 minutes---and will restart when it senses movement. The big test will be tomorrow on the Motorway and the following weekend I hope to test all 6 sensors with the caravan attached Watch this space. Tried it out on the Motorway this morning at sustained speeds of 60-70 mph. After a few minutes one tyre pressure display went blank, followed shortly after by a second one going blank---then a third one, leaving me with only one pressure display working until leaving the Motorway. It has failed its major test---the most important one---Motorway speeds. There is no point trying all 6 sensors next week with the caravan in tow. Altogether an unreliable purchase. I had hoped for better things from Snooper. Or, have I just been unlucky and been landed with a faulty one?? Afraid it will have to be returned. I have no confidence in the device.
