I read the reviews and decided it was worth a try.I am very happy I did.As long as you do not try to insert a spoon/fork handle that is too large or push too hard, my experience is that the 'pocket' is strong enough.I had to use some old cutlery that had flat handles and was careful so no problems.I can understand that if the stitching of the 'pocket seam is just a little off line you may have failures but so far mine is ok.If I was going to use it for a long time I would get one made of stronger materials but for the price and the expected length of time I will need it I can recommend.

Not only do I now have some use out of my bad hand at meal times, but by putting a nail file in instead of cutlery, I can now actually file my own nails :-) The only reason it lost a star for me is that the strap I received was quite a dark grey which I didn't even know was a possibility

I reckon this is useful for some with similar difficulties to myself. But I felt there is a lack of control when using this.

Perfect for my uncle who suffered a stroke and struggles with his leg side.
