Amazing product!
This is an awesome product. There is always animals that are wondering around if lost. So to have this to be able to scan and to possibly find a pets home is great. I scanned my first baby and it found his chip so it definitely gives me a peace of mind! I’m so glad it is portable and can just put it in your car. It was so light weight and easy to use! I love that you can adjust the volume.

Won't scan Avid or Trovan chips
Nice lightweight little scanner. Scans most chip manufacturers: Datamars, AKC Reunite, BuddyID,FoundAnimals registry, Home Again, 24Pet, PetKey and Fi, However, this scanner will NOT scan Avid or Trovan microchips, so buyer beware! I like this scanner to keep in my car. Charges via C-port which is convenient. It's very hard, if not impossible, to find an inexpensive microchip scanner that scans all chips. If someone knows of one, please advise! I'd recommended this scanner for people who do rescue, keeping in mind the fact that Avid and Trovan chips won't be detected.

Really impressed and happy with this product
This scanner is simple to use, and covers the two most common frequencies. Its small size makes it easy to handle, even for people with small hands and may be less intimidating to frightened animals. The USB>USC charging cord is environmentally preferable to replaceable batteries, and the ability to upload data may be useful in some settings.

Works well
This device is light weight but very powerful and exactly as described. There are 1 star reviews because of failure to detect a chip they state might not be present - please disregard those. This device performs well for the supported microchips and is very user-friendly. The only negative is the documentation does not provide information regarding supported software - the listing states to contact the seller for that information, which seems a little strange.

Read me for ease of use for beginners!!!
This is an easy to use scanner, easy. Scan dog and done. HOWEVER there is no mention of how to upload the information to your computer... Whatever you do, do not connect it to your phone. I was locked out of my phone for hours finally realizing that if you connect and your phone is locked it is inputting all the codes into your password box. Make sense, Locked out. When you use the USB, open word on your computer and select the download via usb option and all the information... numbers that are in the chip are typed out for you in work, so you can then copy and paste into a search engine. Information is not easily accessible unless you are a veterinarian who can actually look at the information. Even then you can submit lost pet chip info and it should send the person an email and hopefully they check their email regularly. I have navigated this device enough to keep it but had I not worked in this industry before id have returned it.

Great quality for the price
Solid little scanner for the price. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and picks up microchips quickly without a lot of hassle. The screen is clear and the Bluetooth/upload feature is a nice bonus. Battery life seems good so far.

Bought to test strays
My husband & I foster occasionally, but the past two months we’ve come across three strays so we decided to just purchase a scanner instead of running to the shelter every time. We tested it on our two dogs — both chipped within the past 4 years — and it immediately picked up both numbers! We ran it over our kitten, who we know is not yet chipped, and nothing! We also tested it on one stray to find out they do not have a chip — they’re now our foster! It’s affordable and does its job. I did think it was a little funny someone had returned it, because it had a chip already scanned three times within its history, but whatever. Still works so I’m cool with it.

Used
Scanner worked but it was already used, the screen was a little scuffed up and it still had microchip codes in it from whoever used and returned it. I didn't order used, I ordered new. Little surprised no one thought to.. clear it, at least. I am returning it for someone else to try because I found my lost microchip reader the same day this arrived. Good luck!
