Laptop Tray for Monitor Arm - VESA Mount 100x100mm, Laptops up to 17.3in & 28.6lbs - Notebook Tray Office Desk Accessories - Black

Feels extremely sturdy when used with my 16” MacBook Pro. Build quality feels excellent; heavy metal is used. It holds the laptop perfectly in place, even without the use of the included screw on clamps. My only gripe is that it adds a tiny bit of height to the monitor arm, raising the laptop screen up to where it’s almost uncomfortable to use. Even with that height, I still love this VESA laptop tray and would gladly buy another if needed!

Most laptop trays have straps to keep the laptop from sliding off. Lots of reviews for laptop trays also complain about the laptops not staying in place w/o these straps. Instead of straps, this one came with metal tabs that are attached with screws in the front. I thought that the tabs & screws would be faster for switching out laptops since I do so frequently. However, it turns out that I don't even need the tabs because all my laptops stay in place on their own - so I just threw the tabs away! The tray is very stable. I would recommend it to anyone.For reference, these are the laptops shown on the stand:- HP Omen 16" Gaming laptop- Macbook Pro - 16"- Macbook Air - 13"(The Rainbow Vomit sticker in the first pic is just a magnet I had on my desk, it doesn't come with the unit.)

Does the job. But really hate the design of these in general . It just seems like something that shouldn’t be so bulky and heavy

I have had 3 different laptop holder trays and this takes the cake! It’s great!

Sostiene mi Asus rog strix g 17 sin problemas, se trata de un portátil de 17.3" el cual tiene un peso aproximado de 3 kilos. El único inconveniente aunque me da un poco igual es que las abrazaderas plasticas no se agarran bien a mi portátil y es que este modelo es un tanto delgado( ver las fotos), depronto pueden tener eso en cuenta para una futura actualización del diseño, sin embargo es mi caso particular, he probado con otros portatiles y funciona perfecto, pero en general si hablamos de calidad de construcción este soporte para portátil es de primera calidad.

2 stars because the holes to mount the stand were too small to fit the screws. I had to use a drill to make them bigger. This was the only stand in my budget I could find that would allow the laptop to sit at the angle I needed (with the bottom at 90 degrees) so I wanted to make it work and didn't want to return it unless absolutely necessary. I also didn't use the attachments at the end to hold the edge of the laptop because then you can't close the laptop. It's secure enough for me without them.
