Great choice for a 4yo who loves princess stories
My 4yo daughter loves this modern version of Cinderella. She's been re-telling the story from memory to her grandparents and friends since we've read it, which is the highest praise a 4yo can offer! Great version of the classic, with a nice dose of healthy role model mixed in too. Nice to see the princess doing the saving, and not dropping her entire life the moment the prince asks her to marry him!

Cinderella with a space-suit and rocket rather than a ball gown and coach?
Dear Dr Who, when you go back in time to 1977-79 can you please take this book along so my younger self can borrow it from the library? I love this story, and the snazzy illustrations that came with it. Cinderella with a space-suit and rocket rather than a ball gown and coach? Yes please! And the 8-yr-old brownie I gave it to (who helps cat-sit with her grannie) loves it so much she wants a sprocket from her grandpa.

Great space rocket story, not just for girls
My 3 year old son loves this book and we do, too. Finally another book with a confident female main character who doesn't need pretty dresses, marriage and ultimately rescuing by a male counterpart to provide a fun story. With all the current extreme gender-driven clothing and toys we are trying to raise our boys in the belief that pink glitter and pretty is not all what girls are about and this book delivers. Interstellar Cinderella is a story time favourite.

great story and beautiful illustrations
This is a lovely adaptation of the classic fairy tail. The illustrations are great and my daughter loved it. Cinderella is opinionated and capable and at the end makes a wise choice.

Good buy
Aw. I enjoyed this book. I flicked through before I have it to my daughter and ended up reading it all. I like the ending, the illustration and the space based take on a traditional story. Would recommend.

A space take on the classic fairy story.
A nice take on the Cinderella story. The main character is good at fixing rockets. There are the ugly sisters, (who break things) a wicked stepmother and a Prince. My 5 year old grandson liked it but didn't want to hear it more than once.

Very good
Hoping to instill a love of Princesses with some gumption in my little girl. Wanting to avoid all this flouncy, pink, weak nonsense entirely if I can. A great little story with lovely illustrations too.

Must have fairy tale
My 5 yr old daughter and I joke about fairy tales, as the princess always seems to marry the prince after knowing each other for less than a day. This book is different and amazing, and sends all the right messages to children. Cinderella repairs rockets, and she refuses the prince's marriage proposal as she is too young and wants to focus on her career. The story in well written and interesting, and a welcome break from the tired old fairytales!

I love reading this rhyming storybook to my children. The illustrations are whimsical, but with detail that makes for pleasant discoveries at each rereading. The story features a diverse cast, and has been updated to eliminate many of the outdated elements in the traditional taleโwith a sly nod to some of them. SPOILER: Cinderella refuses the Prince's offer of marriage because she is too young (they are both children) but agrees to become the royal chief mechanic instead.

I am raising a little girl with a feverish curiosity surrounding all things outer space. We absolutely LOVE to nurture this curiosity! This story is a great variation of the traditional Cinderella story. However, I love the message that Cinderella has a skill set of her own, and has the ability to maintain her independence and focus on her passion! Great book to read to ALL children young boys and girls alike. However, I'm very thankful that there are more and more stories coming out which outline a woman's ability to be skilled in a traditionally male dominated field, and to not have the expectation of marriage over pursuing her own dreams!

My 2.5 year old daughter loves this book and requests it. A great new version of an old story for girls of any age.
