I was a bit apprehensive when I received the rods since I didn't read the full details of the sizing options. It IS adjustable, but not by the typical way. It is in segments, so the sizes are limited to the size of the segments, it does NOT slide into itself. You must use it in 16 inch increments. That said, it was workable for my window and I believe the style of the construction makes it stronger. They screw together well, nice and tight, not sloppy or cheap looking, no bendable thin metal. It's doing a great job holding my black out drapes. I needed a smaller diameter to fit the command strip curtain holders (rental, don't want to drill holes) and it's a perfect size for them. All in all, it works really well for what I needed and is definitely strong enough for the job.

The curtain rod is sturdy, easy to install, and looks great once mounted. It holds the curtains securely and feels well-made. Unfortunately, one of the finials can’t be used because it arrived without threading, and the inner rod can get stuck before installation if you’re not careful. Also, since it doesn’t include a center bracket, it can’t be extended too long without risking sagging. Still, for the price, it’s a good value overall.

They’re great so far! I was worried about the quality and weight capacity but they hold strong even with one whole cat hanging off the curtains. She’s about 11 lbs for reference. I’m mostly confident that although she has rediscovered her love of ruining everything nice in my home, she won’t rip these off the wall. Good product. Easy to put together - mostly. I couldn’t figure out the extender but didn’t need it anyways. Size is accurate.

The balls on the end are deceiving not big and for as wide as the rod is suppose to be cant handle a lot of weight we'll all tho very easy to assemble...
