This item is very useful. I quite like having good but the only concern me is when I got them they had this black gooey liquid substance on it. Very sticky as well was very difficult to clean off

The media could not be loaded.  1st of all when these dice came I noticed one of them has some sort of sticky goo all stuck to it, it is also stuck to the box too. I could be some sort of glue but I'm not sure. The other dice seem to be of good quality and work well. I particularly like the case that the dice come in, it keeps them all in one place and safe. The dice do all light up as soon as they are rolled and they stay lit up for a around 20 seconds at a guess. The battery seems to last for quite a long time aswel. Over all the dice would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the goo on one of them.

I had to buy two sets as on receipt several of the dice in the first set were leaking a black fluid.The second set was fine (in this regard), and the charging / light-up functionality works well. But even after a brief session it became clear no-effort had been (successfully) made to put the mechanism in the centre of the die as all were rolling far more of their highest value than they should - the charging point is on the 1 face of each die and we surmise the battery is immediately against it, causing a weight imbalance.

The media could not be loaded.  My son plays D&D with his mates online but with the prospect of him possibly playing in person at uni, figured these would make a conversation piece for the budding DM.The set is packaged in a substantial case which doubles as the inductive charger for the 7 dice.Each die has a small pip (little circle) on one face which must be placed face down in the charger for it to work properly. The value of the die also act to indicate which should be face up with the 4,6,8,9,90,12 and 20 faces uppermost.In use, the charger draws about 2.5W and this doesn't seem to alter much with the state of charge of each die. Upon plugging in the USB-C cable, the dice that are charging flash red and when they stop flashing they are presumed to be charged. I measured a continual 2.5W draw even after they stop flashing as the inductive coils are not switched but remain connected.My rolling leaves a little to be desired so these might benefit from a dice tower to properly randomise the rolls.TL,DR;These are somewhat pricey (£50) when compared with similar offerings so I've marked that down one star but they otherwise do what they purport to do.

I received the item in full untouched packaging opened the dice to check the item with the intention to gift it for Christmas and found a sticky black substance on some of the dice, I wiped it off and put them back thinking it might just be from glue to hold the dice down but I checked it a day later and it had leaked more black ooze out of some of the dice. Will definitely be returning these!

Only one doesn't light up well but I believe that is on my part as I overcharged them and caused two of them to "melt" as it so happened.This would not have happened if I had read ahead so be warned.They are perfect for andding an additional fun element to your DND games. The case is also nice.
