Awesome we'll built heavy heavy duty knife
Awesome knife!! Super heavy duty! You could probably chop a tree down with it. Not great on the bayonet part to much slop between the guide and the barrel could probably shim it if needed. Just going to use it for hunting and camping

Heavy, Solid BEAST
This thing locked up on my AR with no issue. If my barrel was slightly shorter, it would fit even better. Pinch the clip on the butt of the bayonet and it hooks up directly to an M4 clone. Goes without saying, but if you don't have the bayonet clip on your AR, or you have a floating handguard, it will obviously require modifications. I didn't think the front loop was going to fit over my flash suppressor, but that is actually where the ring would sit better if my barrel wasn't as long (I have a 16"). If you were taking this to an actual battle, you'd definitely need a shorter barrel, or 2-4" more on the blade. Removing the bayonet is just as easy using the clip on the knife. Edge is sharp, and the tanto cut is my personal favorite for any knife. I'm not a steel expert, so you'll have to be the judge if this suits your purpose or not. Bottom line, it looks cool, feels super heavy, comes with a great sheath, and fits a standard M4 clone.

I really like this knife and it is built like a tank
This thing is insane no Iโm not a registered knife expert. Iโve got pretty large knife collection and this one did not disappoint. It is got some serious heft in the hand. Itโs weighty and Iโve got a big met and it fits very well. The weight and thickness of the blade is enough to use it as a hammer if needed, which in combat will probably be the case and it mounted easily to my 223 black you know, it reminds me of the feel of a hatchet, a small hatchet, and the weight and balance let you know all you gotta do is get the momentum started and then just let the weight do the rest. Iโm very impressed with this thing and it came razor sharp which surprised me just due to the thickness of the blade but it is like a razor. Iโm gonna order another one for my collection because this oneโs already getting abused in a good way

Good knife, poor bayonet.
As a camping/ survival knife it would be good, heavy enough to chop wood with, sharp enough for general campsite use.. But, heavy isn't good for a bayonet, it feels very heavy on the end of a rifle, but even that's ok because I doubt I'll ever feel the need for a fixed bayonet charge on a piece of venison... My big complaint (besides where it was made) is the plastic scabbard, I'm sure any 12 yo Call of duty fan would love it, but I think it looks ridiculous! I couldn't bring myself to wear it in public, I've given the knife to a friend who does leather work to have a more sensible sheath made for it. In short, a good camping or survival knife, but falls short as a bayonet, just throw away the scabbard...

Durable redesign.
An improvement over the original M-9 bayonet design. The only flaw is that the scabbard only fits the bayonet one direction, and not both directions like the original does.

Very Large ...pause
This knife is big..... Pause, very heavy the seth is quality. But I will be running it through the rigamurai and see how it holds Sharpness. I have XL hangs so I'll have to wrap it with hockey tape, there's something going on at the bottom of the handle I'll have to figure it out.

Sog knives are elite and the best weapons ever.
Best tanto I have ever owned, reliable, tough, extremely sharp, and elegant. I would expect nothing less from SOG TECH, Bloody Well Done.. Five star product all the way. Good price for value, elite weapon, & shipped quickly.

It's OK-ish, as long as the price is right
First off, I would not put this in the same category as a "real" bayonet like the Ontario M9. It has more of a "mall ninja" vibe to it. I picked it up for under 55 dollars, so it was an OK deal at that price. IMO it's not worth much more than that. It's essentially a heavy, sharpened crowbar that identifies as a bayonet. (Made in China, did not realize it at the time or I would not have ordered it. My bad. Kept it because it could still be useful.) I think the "semi-gloss" finish on the blade really makes it look "cheap". A flat or powder coat finish would have looked so much better. On the plus side, it is pretty sharp, the grind is even, the grip is very comfortable, the blade is thick so it may not snap easily, and as a tanto, it could inflict a good amount of damage if deployed properly. The sheath is pretty good as well, but the retention straps always get in the way when putting it back in, so that's mildly annoying. I don't love it, but I'd recommend it, if it stays in the 50-60 dollar range.

Awesome Bayonet
This thing is a beast. Great bayonet for the price. the only thing it does not fit a Mossberg 590.

Make Sure of the Purpose
Not entirely sure of how to fix this to a rifle but as a stand alone bayonet, it is brutally solid and heavy. Not made for carry unless you need to punch through steel doors. Would not use if for camping unless I needed to also dig or otherwise abuse a blade as this product looks like it could handle the punishment.

Mostly great!!!
Really sturdy feeling blade. And if it's like the other SOG knives I have of this nature it will certainly live a long life. Blade was reasonably sharp but I'll likely improve that shortly. Main reason I would of removed a star is it won't fit my 590a1. Wish I read the reviews sooner as a few others discovered this first.

Nice and heavy, but blade is not sharpened
I like the knife, but blade came incredibly dull.
