First of all it comes in a nice Caravelle box & the watch is wrapped around a real soft pillow. The crystal also had a piece of plastic over it to protect it & so did the back casing. The stem had a little yellow tab on it so the watch would not be ticking upon arrival . This as we know is to preserve the battery life. To be honest anytime I have purchased a watch & it arrives ticking I always send them back cause who knows how long it has been running. It is also real easy to set. Just pull the stem out 1 click to set the date & then another click to set the correct time it's as simple as that. It has also kept precise time so far. It is also very comfortable & looks even better in person. Amazon also shipped it in a box like an item like this should be. If you purchase this watch no doubt in my mind you will like it. I also felt the price was pretty reasonable.
