I took a chance on this product and was not disappointed. The bargain price made me think it was cheaply made and I had never heard of the company but it turned out to be a premium product I already love. Being compatible with Apple Homekit, having lighting effects and a very hushed operating volume made this the best choice for us. The ultrasonic feature keeps it very quiet and does a good job vaporizing the mist. The multiple colors and styles available with the LED light ring are nice and kids especially may like it. The light and humidifier functions operate independently. The water reservoir is easy to remove and refill and the overall design looks great aesthetically to me since it reminds me of the Harmon Kardon Soundstick design which was popular back in the day. The standalone Sleekpoint app and Homekit controls work very well for adjusting settings. A nice touch is capacitive touch buttons so there are no switches with moving parts that can wear out. Our house is very dry during winter because of forced air and electric heating. The Humelle has raised the humidity throughout the house and made it much more comfortable and easier to breathe. Originally we were considering a Smartmi product since we use their air purifiers but $300 for a basic humidifier was too much. Additionally it only has a 3L water reservoir whereas the Humelle is 5.5 and includes the light all for $70! We but in 1 gallon of distilled water each day and in our dry house that runs for 16-17 hours on that. Overall it is a great premium product at a value price. The only issue I see that I would change is that when it automatically shuts down after using all the water, I feel it should send a notification to the app letting you know so you could refill it if you wanted to. Given how it far exceeds my expectations I still give it 5 stars.

So, this humidifier worked great to add some more humidity back to the house (we heat with a wood stove, so it's VERY dry heat). The noise level for the fan is plenty acceptable, it shuts off when it runs out of water, and is very easy to refill. It did tend to want to grow the "red bacteria" colony, but a wash with plain white vinegar and a scrub down every few days, kept it clean as a whistle! (MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN IT REGULARLY - breeding bacteria, as all humidifiers can, can be very harmful for your health, and completely counteract the benefits of moist air). Also, the light is fun. And the HomeKit functionality was easy to utilize and add to the Home App.

I love the HomeKit implementation and the app works well. The large tank is nice and having an essential oil tray is a nice addition. The only issue I have with it is the accuracy of the humidifier’s built in humidity sensor. I bought two of these for two different areas of the house. Apple home pods are near them and I noticed they were reading ~15% lower than the humidifiers. If I have the humidifiers set to auto 50% they never turn on since they read in the 60%. So to get them to turn on in auto mode I have to set the humidity to ~60% to get them to turn on. I thought the Apple HomePod sensors may have to been accurate so I bought two Accurite humidity sensors and they matched the Apple home pods exactly or 1% off. I took it apart and noticed that they have tried to seal the sensor away from the internals and water tank. The sensor is near the internal fan. My guess is that there is still a leak and the internal fan is allowing some air to still get to it. And I did check the humidity sensor after hours of it not actually humidifying. I will still keep them as I like being able to control with Apple home and the separate app is still good. But using Auto is almost unusable. I find it better to just run in manual mode and setup automations to control them based on humidity sensors from the home pods. I like that they tried to incorporate all of the sensors together but I’d prefer if humidifier communicated externally to a sensor that could detect the room humidity aware from the humidifier.

This thing has two features that make this stand out from other products: - the app is really well done (easy to read, very easy to set up, not full of advertisements, and full of features) - product set up was so easy, I almost thought I did it wrong. The product itself is also really good… the lights are bright, the humidifier has a ton variance between very light mist and whoops I forgot to turn it on and I need to make the room comfortable ASAP. We bought one and after setting it up immediately bought two more because they were that good.

I really like the design of this humidifier. But the current humidity level stayed the same for few hours with the humidifier turned on… I guess the humidity sensor is not functioning.

Excellent connectivity and functionality but it stopped working after cleaning it. I used this machine and cleaned it regularly. After one of the cleanings it started to hum when plugged in. Those familiar with electronics would know the sounds as coil whine. It no longer would work after that day. I believe it worked for roughly one year. It was also not the easiest design to fill with water. It required some awkward movements to not spill water everywhere when refilling.

Works well with home kit. Very fast at bringing up humidity and very quiet operation. Would recommend.
