ECS Spectra SP-PC 3.5 mm | PC Stereo Transcription Headset with Extra 3 Pairs of Ear Cushions, Dictation Transcribing Equipment

This isn't my first headset from Spectra. I believe this is my third. As a former medical and legal transcriptionist for over 30 years, I needed good quality headsets to minimize any error, and keep background noise at a minimums. These headsets did the job. The foam cushions make them very comfortable to wear 8 or more hours per day. They are pretty sturdy, too, even if they don't like it. i never had a pair break and I'm not the most gentle person in the world.

I like the headset. One of the cushiony earpieces keeps falling off, don't know why. It's kind of irritating.

I've been using the Spectra SP-USB headset with volume control for about a year and a half. I bought these only because I wanted to free up a USB port on my laptop, and I thought the only difference between the USB headset and this was the 3.5 stereo plug. WRONG! This headset not only does not have a volume control, but this headset is significantly inferior as far as sound quality. I will go back to using my Spectra USB headset and get a USB hub if I need additional ports. The USB headset has amazing sound quality. These don't even compare.

Good sound reproduction, a little lacking in bass but excellent for speech. Comfortable headband but earmuffs press a little hard on ears.

I have been using these headphones for a month now and find them to be very comfortable. Great sound quality.

Sound is very clear when listening to vocal speech, excellent product. I can raise the volume quite a bit and the person sitting next to me doesn't hear sound coming out of the speakers, which is a big plus for me.

Pros: these are perfect for medical transcriptionist as I am one working for the hospital. I’ve had these for 1 month so far because I was using my beats headphones previous and noticed that they squish/hurt my head for prolonged use. These headphones have great sound quality and volume control and I like how they come with a long cord to plug into the computer/laptop and some extra cushion covers for the earbuds and it’s own black bag case. They are comfortable to an extent, but not so much for tiny ears. Cons: I don’t these should be priced at $45. This is quite expensive and fit a little bit big over my tiny ears.
