YOU NEED TO BUY THE BASECLIPS SEPARATELY
Nothing mentions this in the add, but this "system" is missing an important piece: the part that actually clips the crossbar to your vehicle. I bought the bars, and didn't learn until looking through the instructions that I needed vehicle-specific baseclips too, and needed to purchase them separately. Don't make the same mistake I did! Go to the yakima website and enter your exact vehicle to get information on what baseclips you need.

Ad NOT ACCURATE!
Ordered rack for my car. Ad described as rack SYSTEM giving the impression of being 2 racks. Ordered "Rack System" and only received 1 rack. Contacted Rack Attack directly. Matt Z was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Explained the difference in the verbiage in the Ad compared to what is ACTUALLY NEEDED. Ordered additional parts which essentially doubled the cost of the rack "system " VERY HAPPY WITH RACK ATTACK! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH AMAZON AD!!
