I found this worked really well. This kept the glass clear of green algae for about 3 weeks before it started to gradually come back., Before the algae was present within a few days as we have a high level of phosphates in our water. It slows down the growth of green algae on plants and rocks the same.I think this product is great and does a good job under the circumstances. Nothing is ever going to eliminate it completely if you are using tap water for water changes.Highly recommend
