I wasn't expecting too much when I ordered these, after all we use microfibre stuff for all kinds of things, from washing the car to cleaning our glasses, and they've always seemed that little bit nicer than normal cloths...But these are not polishing cloths, or cloths just to lift the dust. These are towels, designed to actually get you dry rather than just smear water all over while it evaporates. If you've -ever- struggled to get your back dry while doing the twist with an old-fashioned terry cotton towel, then these will sort you out. They absorb water wherever they touch, they dry you up without having to do all that energetic rubbing. And, as I'm a lazy old so-and-so, these are just what I needed. And they're thin so they dry inside your ears and between your toes much better too.On top of that, they're lighter that old fashioned towels and will themselves dry out in no time (handy if you re-use your towels rather than putting them straight in the laundry). They even fit inside my bag if I'm off to the pool. And they're big enough to get changed behind if you're feeling coy at the beach... And speaking of laundry, they don't go rough like cotton towels when they're washed (and yes, you can use fabric conditioner on your cotton towels, but that just makes them absorb even less water), these have remained a soft pleasant towel after each wash we've put them through.If you're buying towels, get this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not for beach holidays *by K***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 24 August 2021* These are lightweight and compact but we didn't like using them at the beach, after they get wet the sand sticks to them. Every little stain of salt water is visible, big no. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Gym, Really Does Dry Fast! *by S***9 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 29 March 2018* Perfect for the gym as I do lots of swimming. A number of other reviews here claimed that it magically dried skin which left me skeptical, especially being of a larger and hairier disposition I fear than some of the other reviewers. I was pleasantly surprised to use this after my swimming session and it dried very much quicker than a normal towel. It's slighlty larger and longer than a standard bath sheet, and washes well since it's not bulky like a towel. A shame that it cannot be tumble dried but after a high speed spin and a night hung to dry was dry and soft the next day. One thing - the lovely elastic strap is on the short edge of the towel which means the bottom drags on the floor when hung up on standard gym eye level or waist high hooks, which is a shame.
