This kit has simple instructions and a good amount of supplies to make great keychains. The patterns are hard for my 7 year old to do - older is probably better!

Great kit!!! I loved making these in middle school. Brought them to show my younger sister which had no idea what they were and they enjoyed making them! They’re good quality, thickness of the string is good and strong. Takes some time to learn the new designs but the instructions are clear and really helpful all for a really good price.

This reminds me of my childhood. I love being able to give my daughters the same experiences will buy again

This book has great full-color illustrations and a cute pack of plastic strings to go with it and make a fairly large number of crafts. My main complaint is that the photos are relatively hard to follow, and the proposed knots are very finicky and have to be done in exactly the right way. My daughter ended up in tears over a few totally failed projects, and I’ll admit that I spent 20 minutes trying to decipher what was going wrong with the “simple” butterfly knot to understand what was going wrong. Even for a 10-12 year old it would be hard to follow all this as pictured, even for the easy knots, and the harder ones seem borderline impossible even for me. Definitely a complex craft book for advanced kids.

As a mom, I bought this for my kids—but let’s be honest, I really bought it for me. The second I opened the box and saw those neon plastic cords, I was instantly transported back to summer camp, sitting cross-legged on a cabin porch, weaving boondoggles and trading them like currency. Now, watching my kids sit in a sunbeam and fumble through the same box stitch I used to do (with way more patience than I remember having), my heart honestly melted. The kit has everything you need—tons of colors, charms, and an easy-to-follow book that even my 9-year-old could navigate without asking for help (too much). It’s creative, screen-free, and full of that magical mix of “I made this myself!” and “Mom, can we make another one?” Who knew a plastic lanyard could tug so hard at your heartstrings?

I thought I was buying a book but this is an entire kit! What a plus! Very happy with my purchase!

I'm so glad I bought this book, easy to read and very easy instructions

Looks is easy to follow, only issue is charm loops are too small for gimp rope to fit through. And the gimp is a bit more slippery then ones ive uaed in the past.
