Is this vitamin A water soluble?

Beta carotene is a water-soluble form of vitamin A which does not provide the immune boosting benefits of vitamin A. For that, you need the fat-soluble form. So make sure you’re taking emulsified vitamin A.

where it has been produced?

The bottle doesn't say where it was actually produced, but it is distributed out of Carlson Labs in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The lab is regulated by the FDA. As an aside, my husband has retinitis pigmentosa and has taken this supplement for 25 years. He has taken the Carlson capsules for the last 15 years with no side effects.

I stopped ordering because of the "short expiration date". I've had several experiences of "short expiration date" not just on this product.
