The screen protector itself is amazing, coming from a Spigen one that I bought before the phone arrived only to find for some unknown reason it has a large black border that cuts off the screen... This is perfect. Almost edge to edge (about a 1mm gap due to the slight curves at the very edges on the phone) and crystal clear. Fingerprint reader is perfect. Installation is quite involved but totally worth it. Just make sure to watch the video, I ended up watching a review / installation of the same protector for a pixel 7 pro (steps are identical) and found it very helpful. As long as you follow along you won't be disappointed!

Despite being marketed as "bubble free, easy applicator kit", I had nothing but problems with this extremely expensive set. On my first try, the glass went on without any major headaches, but with a ridiculous amount of air bubbles in the centre of the glass, despite following the instructions to the letter. After being totally unable to properly clean the glass and my phone screen of the residual glue, I decided to leave it till I was able to get some proper cleaning solution and start again. On my second try, the same thing happened, only this time, while trying to slowly coax the air bubbles out from under the glass, a large amount of the glue leaked out from under the glass and slipped under the sticker that was supposed to prevent glue from getting into the earpiece. Now, I have a phone with a clogged earpiece that rattles under use and still no screen protector. So much for an "easy application", it's actually made my new phone worse. Awful product

I had one on my Pixel 7 Pro and, after trying the Spigen screen protector for the P8P, decided to get one for the P8P too. It's not that tricky to install it, just follow the instructions or watch the video from Whitestone, and you'll have a solid screen protector perfectly installed. The fingerprint scanner works perfectly fine, same for the front facing camera. Also, the screen protector fits perfectly with cases from Spigen, Caseology etc, it sits flush with the sides of the case.

I had installed a cheaper screen protector on my phone which did not stick properly around the edges because the Pixel screen is not 100% flat all the way to the edge. The Whitestone screen protector solves that problem because the glue used to stick the screen protector to the phone screen fills any extra space nicely. Installation is a bit daunting, though. I screwed up the first one when I managed to get all the glue to roll off the screen while I was trying to remove the screen protector from its own protective foil before I placed it on the phone. After 15 minutes of cleaning liquid glue from everything (phone, installation frame, table), I managed to get the second one installed properly, and the result is great so far, but it ended up costing a lot of money for just one protector. I suppose if I have to install this again I will have some experience and it might go smoother. I will buy again just because the result is really good.

Main disappointment was that it did not come with the rear camera protector that was stated in listing so gonna have to buy one of them seperate, 2mm gap around outside but thats not bad when using a case, instructions in the box aren't great but there are plenty of good guides on youtube. should have looked at youtube for comparisons first as there seems to be far better value options

Have been using Whitestone dome glass screen protectors for a while. Used on my previous 2 phones. Lasted over 1 year for both. Installation process takes time but if you follow the instructions/watch videos you wont have any issues. Previously had the Spigen glass screen protector but didn't like it as it had black bars that covered a part of the screen.

Based on the necessary constant cleanliness required, the lack of ease causes unnecessary frustration. Also whilst receiving 2 glasses, some of the (disposable) items you only receive 1 of, so there is clearly a high failure rate. The lack of perfect fits leads to mishaps, and the knowingness of mishaps (on your 2nd run) leads one to take their time, perhaps too long if you're hoping to keep it dust-free. If I was to go again I'd watch a better video, or perhaps multiple videos, don't go for a quick one.

The process itself is complex, so make sure you watch a video on Youtube how to do it. First attempt worked perfectly and I much prefer this over regular screen protectors. Size fits great.

I've tried several brands and types of screen protectors during the year and this is by far the best I've ever tried. The feel and responsiveness is superb. It's like there is no screen protector cause it feels like the original screen. I would say even better than the screen in the Pixel 8 pro, which has this plastic feel and sound when tapping. The installation process seems tideous at first glance, but by following the video instructions step by step makes installation a breeze. Thanks to the jig it's difficult to place the screen protector off optimal position. The screen protector does not cover 100% to the edges, it seems that it's not the intention because it fits perfectly if you use a solid protective like the Caseology Nano Pop that I use. It's only left to see how durable it is on a long term because it is certainly not cheap.

This is the first screen protector I've ever put on a phone. The installation is involved and the included instructions are complete but not friendly. Watching several videos helped. Applying the small strips of tape is tedious (don't let them cover the glass). The rocking jig is weird but does what it's supposed to do. The glue does not harden on exposure to air and rolls around the screen in a big bubble so you have plenty of time to play with it and move it to the preferred position by tilting the jig. My big scare was when the screen protector prematurely dropped onto the screen. It seems the glue bubble position was good enough because the glue slowly spread to cover the entire screen. I cured the heck out of it (4 segments of ~25% each per pass with 2 short passes in jig, remove from jig, remove tape, wipe edges, then 3 long passes out of jig) and let it "age" overnight before using the phone (probably unnecessary but one video suggested it). The protector is well-positioned and solidly attached to the screen with no bubbles or dust or any observable flaws, and no glue mishaps. I feel like the screen is slightly less responsive, especially the fingerprint sensor, however I didn't set up fingerprints until after protector installation so maybe the 8's sensor is just slower and requires pressing harder on the screen. I can live with it. I hate that this is a Pixel 7 product (there is a "Pixel 8" sticker over the printed "Pixel 7" label). Pixel 7 had a curved screen, 8 has a flat screen -- how can the same protector work for both? I think it's because it didn't really fit the 7 curved screen. Whatever, it seems to be okay on the 8. Would I do it again? I don't know. Plastic film is probably fine, but bubbles and dust specks drive me crazy and I feel like the liquid adhesive minimizes/eliminates that. But it's expensive and time-consuming to install.

I had some annoying scratches on the side of my screen and one right in the center. After installing this screen protector, I literally cannot see them, even with the screen off and angling in the light. It has renewed my screen. It was expensive and the install was fiddly, but I have zero regrets as I was considering a new phone just to get rid of the scratches.
