Every time I buy a new piece of equipment, it gets a cover - even when it is stored under a shelter. This cover is quite heavy-duty, and just the right size (XL) for my John Deere LA105 mower and bagger. The included straps will help keep it on, even in the high winds we tend to get here in Southern Maryland. Both ends have elastic at the hems, kind of like a fitted sheet. It even has an equally heavy-duty storage bag. One feature I really like (but never really considered) is that it has rain-proof vents, to allow air to circulate. That is a very nice design feature for those of us who live in humid areas. I am very happy with this cover, and look forward to its protection for my tractor for many years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Review for the XL 98Lx44Wx43H size Cover *by J***W on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2021* Material is pretty good. Underside is a rubber material that will melt if you put it on while the engine is hot, so use common sense with regards to that. OK, for a sizing review... I have the larger model of the 48 inch deck with armrests and recently added the triple bagger. This cover will fit both without having to remove the bagger. I have read a lot of reviews for this product that talk about how amazing the material is. Not to be pessimistic about the product, but I feel a more "real" assessment would be the material is good, medium weight and easy to negotiate over a large mower. The elastic around the edges of the front and rear of the cover work surprisingly well and eliminates the need for bungies or other way of securing the cover in place. So, if you were looking, or wondering what size to get, for a cover that would fit a mower with a large bagger attached the XL 98Lx44Wx43H size is what you want. Perfect fit in all directions. I will be moving my mower from the garage to underneath the deck and expect this cover to do well with waterproofing and weather and sunlight while under the deck. But I would estimate that direct sunlight will fade and weaken this cover within 12-18 months. Overall, great cover and a good price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Update: Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2019* Update: 9/2023 As if the great cover they were making wasn't good enough, Family Covers has now added a fade resistant treatment to their covers. I have attached two photos of when I put it on new and the second of how it looks after one full winter and summer, subjected to direct sunlight, cold, rain, and snow. As long as they keep selling it I'll keep buying it as needed. My other updated reviews are below as to why.Update: 6/2022 Happy this was available again. Just bought a new one after 3 seasons in the sun, wind and cold. The old one could have kept going but I just wanted to get a new one while available. Don't remember if the old one had them but this one comes with additional straps for securing it to the mower if you want. I don't see the need for them. Photos of old and new attached.Update: 4/2021 Going into 3rd season and this cover still has no holes or tears in it. The elastic that tucks at the 4 wheels to hold cover on is as strong as when new. Even the strongest winds have never blown this cover off of the mower. If the wind blows cover off the wheels it grabs under the back fenders or beneath the front hood area and keeps the cover in place and protecting mower from rain, snow, and ice. Will have to see if I can find it somewhere else since it is currently unavailable here. Not that I need another one now but like to have a surplus on hand for when I do.Update 06/2020 Through one season going into it's 2nd, this cover is doing the job well. Very faded, which is expected sitting in the sun from sun up to sun down, but no holes or tears and elasticity which tucks under the tires to hold it down is still very strong. No leaks and stays on in strong winds. I like that it is one layer with no inner lining to degrade and make a mess as more expensive ones I've owned have done. Upgrading it to four stars. If it makes it through this summer into next I'll give it 5.Feb 2019: Note the photo at the top of page that shows the "Family" logo at the front of the tractor. Those are the only instructions you will get when you buy this cover, on how/which way to put it on your tractor. Almost too big for my tractor. The material seems heavy and very canvassy. Has not been rained on yet but I expect it will be plenty water resistant. More concerned how it will hold up to high winds, heat and cold. If this cover does it's job for at least two seasons holding up under every weather condition to which it will be exposed year round, that will match the longest any cover I've owned has held up and I will update my review to 5 stars with comments.
