Fantastic airfryer.
I first bought this XXL Philips airfryer 3 years ago. It has fat removable technology! It cooks fantastically... and has a lovely BIG bucket to cook in. Then I saw an Amazon advert for a discounted Phillips XXL airfryer. I did not Hesitate...I bought another one !! Now I can roast vegetables or chips in one and cook meat/fish in the other simultaneously. It was delivered with Amazon's efficient service. Great value all round. Best airfryer ever. Quick, cost effective, healthy and has a good capacity. Very easy to use. Saves me electricity, I rarely need to use my large under counter fitted oven. It was delivered promptly in original packaging in excellent condition.

Fantastic
I have had other air fryers and with this one I have made a real leap in quality. The food is much tastier and juicier. I am delighted.

Great machine but!
Used for first time today. So far I can say the build quality is much better than my previous (2) airfryers. Documentation is poor. Cannot figure out how to pause airfryer to rearrange food but waiting for a reply from Philips. Watch this space!UPDATE 1. Downloaded pdf user instruction files. Answer in there. Why does Philips not include this in the box?I have downloaded the app and find it annoying. Why is there not an index? I dislike intensely the modern trend of relying on electronic documentation, not only Philips, but most manufacturers, do the same. What if you don't have internet access? What happened to good, old fashioned instruction books? The booklet supplied with the machine does not give any guidance for use, that comes in a very large paper leaflet, full of pictograms. Not the easiest to follow. The online instructions are much better if you can find them. Come on Philips, not everyone is computer literate and internet savvy. 4 stars because of the lack of good documentation.UPDATE*** no doubt it cooks well but the longer it is in use the worse the 'white smoke' gets when grilling fatty foods. The kitchen disappears in a white, greasy smog (despite extractor fan an open windows). Putting water in the basket is supposed to minimise this problem but it doesn't.UPDATE 4 YEARS LATER!***All my complaints still hold true but there are positives that weren't obvious at the beginning. The removable base of the basket is non stick fine mesh, unlike most of the current popular models that have solid bases or removable bottoms with non stick coatings. The coatings on these begin to wear very quickly and I have seen more than one YouTube video showing some baskets have warped after 6 months of use necessitating purchasing spare baskets. I cut a piece of non stick silicon mesh to place in the bottom of my Philips air fryer and after 4 years frequent use, the base is as good as new. The fan is exceptionally powerful and food tends to cook on both sides so that turning the items, although best to do, is not as essential as with other airfryers I have had. Due to the power of the fan parchment liners, unless well weighted down with food, can curl up over the food. The circulation through the mesh bottom is excellent. The plastic cover of the power switch is now cracked and the shiny finish round the central button has disintegrated but the airfryer still works as it did when it was new. Not bad for 4 years hard labour!Another update:If you are cooking fatty foods that create white smoke I have found that if I remove the extra tray and put water in the bottom I don’t get smoke. Now almost in daily use for almost 6 years and still going strong.Still in almost daily use 2025!

Great
Before I wasnt too much keen on idea of airfryer, its just a bigger oven but since buying it half year ago Ive been using it almost every day. So much easier to clean than oven as well food comes out more crisp and faster.Wasnt sure about size either but Im really happy I got XXL because I cannot imagine having smaller.Super easy to use, and pretty intuitive. Only thing id say to be on look out to have space behind it as steam comes out and can put moisture on the wall so gotta have space for it- its not small.

Amazing.
This air fryer is the best I’ve ever owned. The XXL size means I can cook food for my family if 5. Whenever we have our weekly treats, Pork chops, sausages and burgers taste juicy and the fat just melts away. Chips taste wonderful when cooked in this airfryer. I absolutely love it! I’ve grilled vegetables, mushrooms, pumpkins etc and you get that barbecue taste. It can get a bit smokey when you cook pork chops though. Trimming the fat off meat can help with that. Overall, I’m very much satisfied with the purchase and we use it almost every day.
