Good protection from damage
This comes with the already assembled drone, a controller, a charging cord, and instructions. For the controller you will need to provide 3 AAA batteries. The charging cable is a USB-A to micro USB cable. While charging there is a red light in the center of the drone that turns on.There is a tiny power button on the center portion of the drone that you push and hold for a second to turn the drone on. Then you have to turn on the controller and do the usual max throttle and min throttle to arm it. I was not able to use the throttle to take off once it was armed. I had to use the auto take off button and then I could use the throttle to control the height. The instructions were ok but were obvious translations from another language. Fortunately there were lots of pictures to go along with the instructions. The controls were pretty responsive and I didn't have any issues flying the drone around. This drone has all the motors and propellers completely enclosed in a plastic UFO shaped dome. The dome material is flexible to absorb impacts and protect the motors and propellers. This should help it to survive collisions.Since this is a mini drone, it doesn't have a camera. It's just for flying around inside.I wouldn't try flying it outside due to it's size and power because even a mild wind could push it around. When it's flying there are 4 lights around the edge to indicate which way is the front. The lights can be turned off to conserve the battery.Overall a fun little toy to fly around inside that should be able to survive several collisions and won't break the bank.

Still haven't mastered it
I got this drone for me because I was interested in learning how to fly one. I used to have RC Helicopters and those were hell to learn.... I thought this would be better, and, to an extent, it is... First thing that happened, however, was hitting the launch button, it flew up, then proceeded to smack my wife in the face... Not a great start... I took it outside to try again with no luck. it just drifts and I can't get the hang of controlling it.. It's durable as heck though with the cage around it! I've smacked this thing into walls, concrete, etc and it still runs. Hopefully, i'll get the hang of it soon..

the rechargeable battery could use a longer run time
Both two g-g-grandsons wanted to play with the joykey-Drone one they saw the drone. Their father working with real thing they thought that is a version for them. The rechargeable battery on the drone use a older style charger( not S style) so hold on to your old charger(s). It take about 45min to 1 hr on the first charge, a little bit shorter with subsequent charge. You will need 3 additional AAA batteries for the controller. Turn the remote on before turn on the drone itself, they take a few second to sync up. That when the fun begin. OK read the instruction before if you want ---.

Nice intro to drones
I've been interested in getting a drone for a while. This drone is advertised as being easy for children to operate, and I'm sure they would probably be better at it than I am (59 year old). The drone kind of spins on its own when levitating, which makes the control left send the drone right/forward/backward depending on the spin. Maybe with practice I can figure out how to make it hover without spinning. For now, it's a little frustrating trying to control where it flies.

nearly indestructible - remote controls iffy
OK - so as with any 'UFO', after the batteries were put into the remote and the UFO charged (rechargable via USB), it was time for a flight. You turn on the UFO with a momentary switch on the hub. When on, the lights on the UFO blink. The buttons on the remote were a lot less 'clear' and that is where this presented a challenge.RC car - you know what is forward or left or back. Not so with a UFO that can rotate in flight. Pressing the control to the left doesn't make the UFO fly that direction - because it might be facing towards you at which time left for the UFO is actually to your right. Back/forward has the same challenges as left/right.About all I have to say is that the UFO is light enough that it (and it's plastic shell) is nearly industructable. I managed to 'crash' it into walls a number of time - it just bounced off. If the impact was softer, it would hug the wall and continue flying. The only control that I was pretty certain of was the up/down control but even that one was a little tricky in that it didn't respond as I expected.I do have a feeling that younger flyers will love the flashing lights and the sound it makes. In fact they may even be more willing to put up with the limitations of the remote than I am. Until the remote is more functional, all I can award this is 3 stars.

Maybe for older kids...
I got this for my 5 year old grandson. It's smaller than I anticipated (like a small pancake). The controller is a nice size and fits firmly in our hands. It charged and flew well but I think it would be better for children about 8 years old and up due to the complexity of operating it. It has a non replaceable battery, which is a bummer because if that goes, so does the toy. It did power up quickly. It's made in China and the box calls it a UFO and sometimes an aircraft. I guess in America we call it a drone. To ascend you push it up, but when bringing it down after you grab it you need to flip it upside down so the propeller stops. Nevertheless, the lights work properly and you can get some good play time (not hours) out of it. I think it's a pretty good drone for older kids, but if younger children are playing with it, they will require adult supervision to fly it.

Sibling annoyance device.
This drone is so easy to fly that even your grandma can do it! It’s perfect for kids who want to learn how to fly a drone without crashing it. The LED lights make it look like a UFO, so you can pretend you’re an alien while flying it. And the best part? You can do 3D flips and auto-rotations with just one button! It’s like having your own personal stunt pilot. So, if you want to have some fun and impress your friends, get this drone today!

Solid beginner INDOOR drone
This is a really good indoor drone for beginners. It should only be used indoors as the white light at the front of the drone is very hard to see outside, made even worse with wind as a factor. Sometimes it gets unresponsive but it is very rare.
