These lights are gorgeous, and I already ordered three of them. They highlight the colors of my carnivorous plants like no other terrarium light I've tried. The way these lamps are constructed, with their flexible length, is just ideal for a variety of display situations. I could not recommend them more highly.

Well packed, and arrived quickly. The unit appears sturdy and well made. Controller and light work as described. Great value and was super easy to throw on my tank with the included feet.

I absolutely love this light! It made my floating plants grow like crazy. Anyone who knows red root floaters knows it’s kind of hard to get the leaves to turn red and stay that beautiful color. This light did that for mine! Super bright and love the sun up and sun down mode.

When setting the time of day, you're limited to 2 hour intervals. i.e. 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, ... Thus to set accurate time, you can only do it once every 2 hours. Also doesn't appear to resume day/night schedule after power outage. Maybe it would have worked the next day, but I returned it so I could get a better light.

Just received 2 of these today and so far they are awesome. So easy to set up, especially if you have set up similar timers. I had to read the directions about 5x personally and set it up 2x and now its simple. I do wish you could set the clock by the hour and minutes but it is what it is. So far, in 1 hour, my first tanks plants changed completely and the entire plant is pink now vs just the tips so I am impressed! Loving the tall setting as well, my other Nicrew lights are good but sit right on top of the tank and this new design is much better all around. Hoping nothing breaks but so far so good!

I am so impressed by this light! My plants are growing like crazy and all my shrimp are loving it. I have it on a 10 gallon. The 24 hour light cycling is perfect, I set it once and I don't need to think about it. I also enjoy changing the lighting to different colors for fun. I like that the remote is on the power cord so I can't misplace it. I will definitely be buying another for my next tank.

I so want to give this a 5, but as-delivered, my light is not very functional. The + button works great. The - button does not work. Therefore, I am stuck at 100% brightness, and cannot adjust downward. This is going to overpower the 10 gallon tank that it's sitting on, and cause an algae bloom. Edit to add: replacement works great.

The lighting is really good, upgraded from my top fin light that came with the kit. Makes my guppies and shrimp color pop, would recommend if looking for a low budget planted light

Needed a replacement light for a unbranded aquarium, couldn't find a light to fit into the lid of the aquarium so decided to give this one a try, really surprised by just how good it is for the money, I was using it on it's lower hanging area so I could still use the aquarium lit but recently found that the light was actually getting water inside, thankfully I was able to sit it at an angle over a bucket after unplugging it from the wall and it drained the water out, obviously I'm reluctant to put it back at this level so I've had to buy a condensation cover to put over the aquarium and I'm using the light in its higher position, it's still very good and plants are growing well.

I bought this for a Fluval Roman 90 to replace the old tube bulbs, and it has worked out really well. The 20W unit gives plenty of light for the whole tank and has been strong enough to grow plants. If you wanted extra coverage at the front you could add one of the smaller sizes, but for most setups this single light is more than enough. The build quality is better than expected at this price. It even fell into the tank and stayed there for a couple of days before I noticed, and it still works perfectly. My only complaint is that the timer and day-night cycle controls are not intuitive at all and the instructions are not clear, but with a bit of patience you can figure it out. For the price, it is excellent value and performs far better than I expected.

I wanted to change the light that came with my aquarium but didn't want to spend loads. I usually buy Fluval but this is less than half the price and it does the job - even at max brightness it's not REALLY bright but that is what I was after. If you are looking for a super bright light then this is not for you. I would prefer to be able to set light levels with an app as I find doing it with the control a little confusing/limiting, but can't really complain as the lights with those features are a lot more expensive.
