The other advantage to this charger is that it uses the balance connector of a standard LiPo battery, which is what I needed for my laptop battery. The stronger, high power chargers require connection to the power connector of R/C batteries as well as the balance connector. The laptop battery does not have these connections. I was able to tap into the batteries with the balance connector and charge them directly.
