Review: Very expensive, too thin, but it works. - I had a small hole in my kerosene boiler’s flue which needed urgently sealing. I carefully cleaned the surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol and applied two strips of the tape in a ‘+’ shape across the hole. Despite the tape being rather thin and I do wish that it had been thicker, the repair has both worked and importantly remained attached.

Used this tape to seal a metal flue from a gas fired heater. Don't use this to provide a mechanical seal, use screws and place the tape over the join to make airtight. Remove all loose rust etc and clean first, then the tape sticks very well. Good easy to use product.
