Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to be a bookcase. Suitable size to be a night stand at the same time. White layer is prone to damage and the shelves are white only on one side, so be careful when assembling. Bigger books can be put there lying flat (see pic). It's not as bad as some reviews suggest and can be useful in case of having limited space but imho should be a bit cheaper.

Great value for money. I brought this for a bedside table for my toddlers bed and it’s the perfect size for a night light, a place to put his drink and the shelves to hold his favourite bed time stories and dvds. Perfect little compact bedside table.It’s really helped for him to know he has a special place right next to his bed just for night time where he can easily find all his night time stuff to help him feel at ease during the night.

I used two of these units to add storage to a narrow bathroom shelf. They work great for my purposes, accommodating a variety of smellies and tall enough to accommodate toothbrushes standing upright in cups. Assembly is simple, with the typical hardware that comes with pressboard furnishings. The narrow dimensions combined with generous shelf height was a real score for me.

Cheap and cheerful

I bought it 3 times! For the price it's more than all right!

Was stuck for a bedside table in a cramped university room- this does the trick, and at just over a tenner you can't go wrong. It looks smart and provides handy extra storage space.Construction is surprisingly sturdy given the modest price and assembly was easy with just a Phillips-head screwdriver needed. It even comes with little white sticker dots to cover the screws heads.Very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate if buying again.
