What’s the minimum cavity size you can use these fixings with?

There is a sleeve you push into the wall, from memory I suggest it is about 3-4mm so that would be the minimum. I strongly recommend these fixings.

Can these be usee to mount a 55 inch tv on non sturdy wall?

Dear Jay, The cavity fixings can be used on a plaster board wall to hold up to 20kg , on a MDF wall to hold up to 50kg and on a plywood wall to hold up to 70kg. It all depends on what your wall is made of and how heavy is the TV. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Arttex team

Can any screws be used with these?

Yes, within reason but chipboard screws with parallel threads are best. They will not take traditional wood screws with tapered threads. Also, be aware, that for the fastener to open properly, there has to be enough hollow behind the plasterboard for the fixing to spring open.
