It fit me similar to the photo: loose on legs and fit through hips and waist. The swim shorts seem well made and the attached panty fit well. The material is lightweight and the 9" inseam shorts fit in a small sandwich zipbag when rolled up. The grey was a nice dark color and the pockets didn't gape. The fit was overall pretty great with one flaw - the waist. It feels as if there is a thin piece of elastic sewn clear around at the very top of the waist seam. This elastic rolled down to bunch over the other material at the top even though it fit me at the smallest part of my waist. It rolled while standing or sitting.
