The ones I had before had several small LEDs in a circle. This created a very strange and unnatural shadow with each point of light casting a slightly different angle so that the edges were blurry and disorienting. Single point light was my main criteria, and thank goodness. The room they light is so much clearer now. I knew something was off with the old ones, but I couldn't really put my finger on it.
