Excellent present for my granddaughter

My 4 year really enjoys playing with this, as do we. Comes with some sheets with designs on to try and copy, or if like our daughter, you just do whatever design you want. If you press the on/off button again it has a flashing mode and on the back it has a little stand that folds out so you can either have it laying flat or propped up. Needs 3x AA batteries which DO NOT come with it, so make sure you have some batteries to hand and a screwdriver to undo the battery cover. Overall a fun little toy. Keep the beads away from little ones though, they are very small!!

This is one the toys I most remember from my youth and wanted to get one for my son, I bought if as a Christmas present, it arrived in good time and well packaged. The toy itself is smaller than I expected but there is plenty of space to make light up pictures. The pegs sit in the holes ok and light up well. Overall a great little toy and my son will have plenty of fun with it just as I did at his age!

Classic toy, bought a present

Considering these have been around for decades, I was expecting a high quality product. It was well packaged and delivered quickly. However there were many aspects of this toy that didn’t function efficiently. The light is brightest in the middle of the unit so as you place the bulbs around the sides they’re not as bright. In the photos of it, it doesn’t show a gradient to the brightness of the bulbs, they’re all as bright as each other no matter where they’re placed on the board, so these photos have obviously been photoshopped which is false advertisement. Also, you can’t click the bulbs into place so they stay sturdy in that fixed position. Although they don’t fall out if the toy is held upside down, they all sit slightly lopsided as they’re not securely held in place. My daughter would be disappointed if I replaced this toy because she does like it but I can see her frustration when the bulbs lean to one side and don’t sit in the uniform sturdy position they should. I don’t think this is well made and wish I had gone for an alternative brand.

A great retro product. I’ve been waiting for this coming back for years and so pleased it did for the 5 yr old to enjoy. The base is a lot thinner than previous versions and doesn’t stand up as well but it does lie flat ok. They have made the backing black not white like in the 90s so no need for tons of black paper to make your own pictures on. There could be more lights for a better effect. The pegs and everything else is the same as the original. It’s a well loved addition to the toy collection and has hours of play value and value for money u like some of the more modern toys.

Love this! Definitely reminds me of being back in the 90s. My children love it. It’s such a fun toy to play with. Definitely recommend it.

My nephew broke his leg so he’s been very bored and can’t run around or anything and he’s stuck in this wheelchair so he loves the light bright and loves puzzles so this was a great toy for him. Something I did as a child and I’m glad he’s enjoying it as well. It seems durable and easy to use and he can take it anywhere with him. Good quality as well.
