These are the "old fashioned" nail clippers I have looked for. Very sharp. Come NICELY packaged. Has a plastic cover for the clilpper part, along with a sleeve it fits in. Recommend. Heavy Duty. It WILL clip tough nails.

This nail clipper is a quality product. The spring to keep the clipper open works perfectly. The clipper blades are aligned perfectly and very sharp. Works great for finger and toe nails. I had another brand with a bent wire for the spring. It always jumped out of place.

Great nail trimmer. Very sharp and lots of leverage. Be careful with these!
These are serious nail cutters. I have neuropathy and really need to maintain my toe nails. A sharp nail that digs into another toe can lead to a blister and a loss of a toe in a heartbeat for me. When I visit my podiatrist I watched her use a set of cutters like this and decided I must have a pair. A word of caution. These are VERY sharp and because the handles give you so much leverage, they cut very quickly. The first time I used them, I not only trimmed a nail but also trimmed a big chunk of skin off my toe. This would never happen to most people because you'd feel the cutter on your skin. With neuropathy, I couldn't feel it and did some real damage. Just be aware and pay close attention to what you're doing. If used properly these really do a nice job. Just remember that they cut very aggressively.

This one works!
The one at Walmart and our grocery store did not have a spring that opens it. I bought it anyway since it was the only one they had and I wasn’t able to use it and made a mess of my fingernails and toenails. We used to have a clipper like this so I went and bought it on Amazon and it works so much better! Especially when using my left hand since I’m right handed. Built to last.

Corta com precisão, não é muito robusta e não conheço ainda a durabilidade mas, ao meu ver, o maior problema continua sendo a portabilidade, como ela se ajeita na palma da mão. Suas dimensões pequenas e o desenho, não permite de ter o cortador firmemente preso entre os dedos.
