I was looking for a cushion that would relieve the pressure on my lower back when I am sitting. The cushion is thick enough that it doesn't go flat and provides the relief I needed for sitting long hours at work. It's not heavy and supports my sides of my legs and has a large lips that prevent me from sliding back and cushions my tail bone

I had a broken bone that I couldn't sit on a regular chair without a lot of pain. It worked great for that, and I still use it because the curve in the chair back is not ideal. It compensates very well for that, tool.

So many seat cushions of this type have a "rim" in front that put pressure on my thighs because I sit forward in my chair. This cushion eliminates that pressure while giving good support for my hips as I sit.
