I am an avid artist, as I have been drawing for many, many years. When I tell you, "these pencils are great," I mean it.0.3 pencil: I purposely chose the option WITHOUT the 0.3 size pencil because I've heard that the lead snaps extremely easily in that one and can break the pencil. So be warned before buying that option.The 2.0 pencils are wonderful, and they are the main pencils I've used to complete the attached drawings, save for some minor details that required thinner lines. They have a sharpened tip, like a regular pencil. That is what the sharpeners are for-- be warned, the shavings can make a mess.These pencils function well, especially for their price (they seem to go on sale often), and I have not had any issues with them. It comes with a variety of colored leads to use in the 2.0 pencil size, as well as many, many refills. The length of each led is more than enough, and I imagine these will last me a long time.The case it comes with is exceptional, and everything has its own spot and slot to fit into.Overall, a very good buy.

I LOVE IT! Is really nice having the range of lead sizes including 2 mm graphite and colored lead. It's smooth to draw with, the erasers and sharpeners are great and I'm anxious to test all of the different leads. I caught a sale price of $13.59 and I totally recommend this set because of how much you get with it. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU CAN CATCH IT ON SALE.NOTE: READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION in the "Overall" Section beneath the listing. The picture in the listing at the top shows 3 lead sharpeners; HOWEVER, it comes with ONLY 2 SHARPENERS but the description at the bottom indicates there's only 2 so it always pays to look at and read everything about a product. I'm ok with getting only 2 sharpeners because I knew this before making my purchase.The OTHER ISSUE with the description in the OVERALL section at the bottom is that at the third bullet point • it says the 2mm leads are available in Graphite "AND 36 COLORS". There's ONLY 24 COLORS (there's 4 each of 6 different colors, 2 separate containers of 12 leads). There's a discrepancy between the description at the first bullet point • and the description at the third bullet point • . I think they may have gotten another set's description mixed in with this one; HOWEVER, all that aside, I LOVE THIS PENCIL SET! It comes with a lot and I was fortunate enough to catch it on sale.My ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT is my fault for not ordering white lead refills because it does not come with white lead and I intend to draw and/or paint on black sketch paper.I haven't drawn much with them yet but I did do a color swatch to see what it would look like and I also started drawing a picture (it's far from finished as you can see in the photo) from an art photo I'd seen online somewhere. I just wanted to see if I could draw it. I used the 2mm leads and they feel very smooth. The pencils feel pretty good in my hands too and the lead seems to draw nicely. The 2 mm pencils are not retractable but I'm okay with that too. I think the grips that came with them would be perfect under normal circumstances but I have carpal tunnel and arthritic hands that can cramp badly at times so I may need to buy some silicone grips for them but maybe I won't. Time will tell if I will need the grips to make the pencil fatter so it lessens the fatigue in my hands.In my opinion, it's a really good set for what you get and it has a decent storage case so I can stay organized. I am the farthest thing from being a professional artist but I LOVE TO DRAW and this set HAS EVERYTHING I NEED... well, except for white lead. LOL!

Excellent collection of pencils. Honestly might be overkill for a lot of people, but I tend to lose so many pencils, so for me it's perfect! In fact, I already lost one, but surprisingly still have the metal eraser cover sitting here. At least I have the other pencils to use. I appreciate having 2 pencil sharpeners because, again, I'll probably lose at least one and you can't easily sharpen those #2 leads and the color leads without it. Fantastic to have the color leads for sketching. Mine are coming with me in my travel box to do art on a west coast train trip in a few weeks. Now...if I can just find where I set the 0.5 pencil. Wild ADHD problems!

I was just looking for a few mechanical pencils—nothing fancy. But for the same price as a basic pack at the store, this kit showed up with way more than I expected. You get multiple pencils in different sizes, lots of lead refills, and even colored lead, which I didn’t even realize I wanted until I tried it.The pencils feel solid and comfortable to write or draw with, not flimsy like the kind you find in office supply drawers. And the lead doesn’t snap easily, even the thinner ones. The case is simple but keeps everything organized.If you go through mechanical pencils regularly or just want to try different lead thicknesses without spending a ton, this kit is a great deal. Honestly, I was surprised by how much came in the box.

I absolutely love these pencils. I use them for everything. The pencil set has a lot of extra lead in black and color. The eraser makes my mistakes disappear almost completely. Like 98%. I have never seen a pencil sharpener that fits the lead only. I brought two; one in gold and the other in silver. I will be giving the silver to my daughter. No regrets ❤️

This kit contained a great variety of pencil lead hardnesses and mechanical pencil shells to motivate a budding architect or budding artist? The textured pencil shells are not only attractive but readily holdable by small or large hands.
