Perfect footprint for our scout tents. They are lightweight and portable yet sturdy. I've learned it's better to put them on the inside of the tent than the bottom as our tents leak but... When doing that, we stayed dry. They have a storage pouch and fold back up easily. Travels pretty well and doesn't take a ton of space

I got this the other day and was a bit taken aback by it being so thin. Well, it so happens that for a while now, I'd been looking for something to block-out the bright sunlight that floods my bedroom, even though I do have long, plastic strips constituting a blind (but doesn't come close to doing the job even when closed all the way). In my search to find something on Amazon to fix the problem, I looked at sheets of cardboard (that weren't big enough and cost a lot), I looked at room dividers (which didn't look like they'd be adequate and would be cumbersome). And so after a while, I just gave my search a rest and continued with the less than ideal sleep mask. But then last night a light went off in my head and I thought, "What about that tent footprint mat, would it work?!" Well, I placed the mat up over the window and discover that it's PERFECT! Right now the mat is soaking in a sink so as to rid it of the little off-gassing it had. And when that 100-degree sun is up in a few hours I will dry it out and have a wonderful window blind that I can easily take down and put back up as I please! So there you have it; go ahead and buy it for its original purpose and, if it doesn't work as well as you'd like it to, then use it the way I'll be using mine ... and get the great sleep you've been longing for!

Ordered this with the newer 2-person tent that used a single center pole that Y-splits to to legs on each side. This footprint fits it perfectly and attaches to the poles to hold everything in proper place and taut. It feels thin compared a tarp but withstood the poking and pulling compared to the tarps I use that ripped. I was able to roll this up with the tent and fly in the included tent bag. This footprint seems like it will hold up, was cheap enough and will get put through the tests with canning with scouts this year.

Just received this and will be using it this weekend. My tent floor is 88 x 51 inches. That's the 1.5 person size per this item description so that's what I ordered. The actual measurement across the center line is 86.5 long by 51.5 wide. I normally DO NOT want any ground cloth sticking out from under the tent since that would funnel any rain under the tent. It is definitely not needed to extend all the way to the edges of the floor since no one ever actually steps at the very edges... or shouldn't if you value your tent. But this being a half inch wider will be OK since it will still be inside the front and back vestibules of my tent so not really exposed. This ground cloth is just at the indicated measurements in the details along the edges for both length and width. This item does come with grommet tapes as shown on the corners but DOES NOT come with the cording shown attached to those tapes. Since my tent is a little bit longer I will need to add cording to reach out to the tent stakes. This is my only reason for docking one star on the review. Only time will tell about durability. It is light weight compared with other ground cloths I've had that were made for the tent models I've owned. Only a sheet of Tyvek (used under one tent) was lighter, but not by much.

This footprint is just the right size for the corresponding tent from the same manufacturer. It packs very light, but provides protection for the tent itself. It has handy holes positioned perfectly for the tent's poles, making it easy to set up. One thing people often overlook is that the footprint must not be larger than the tent. If it is, it will serve as a rain collector to gather water under you - definitely not what you want. This footprint is just the right size to protect the tent while avoiding that particular problem. It's a good accessory for your Clostnature tent.

Exactly what I was hoping for, lightweight good quality, its very similar in material to a rain fly on a tent. Needs to off gas a few hours before use.

Used this under my tent winter camping. This worked perfectly. There was ice and a little snow when I setup my tent. After 3 nights sleeping in my tent while packing up, the ground was almost dry under the tarp and no moisture came through. I can wrap this Tarp with my tent and still fit it in my tent bag easily.

Bought this to use under my North Face VE25 since the official footprint runs nearly a hundred bucks, and the cut is essentially the same shape with grommets in the right corners to hook into the tent stakes. Material is a heavier ripstop than I expected at this price, and it has shrugged off rocky and wet sites without pinholes or wear. Packs down small enough to disappear in a corner of the pack. Real gripe, no stakes are included, you'll want to bring your own anchors if you plan to use the corner loops as a standalone tarp. For under $30 paired with a $700 mountaineering tent, the math works. Would buy again as a backup or for a different tent in the rotation.

Sehr gute Unterlagen. Zusammengelegt nimmt die Unterlage wenig Platz weg und lässt sich in kleinen Lücken im Rucksack gut verstauen. Das Material lässt sich nach Gebrauch sehr einfach reinigen. Durch die 4 Ösen an den Ecken auch problemlos abspannbar.
