This was a gift for my husband, who is VERY hard to buy for. I knew hie wanted a scooter for our travels and I knew he wouldn't buy it for himself. When I found this one I thought it was perfect for his needs. It is a beautiful scooter. It has everything. A headlight, a horn, and it folds down or up in 2 seconds. Blue is his favorite color so it was perfect. The only problem was that I didn't want to wait until Christmas. So the kids and I decided to give it to him as a "Christmas in July" present. He fell in love with it the minute he saw it. It drives like a dream. It was much faster than I thought it would be. We all had to have a turn in trying it out. Our grown granddaughter took her turn and told our daughter "Mom I want this for MY Christmas". My husband has trouble walking long distances. This scooter will make it possible for us to see more without his being exhausted from the walking. He loves it, and so do I.

Web description is wrong about weight. Actually ten pounds heavier. Never describes fully how controls are operated--need to push a button under the horn which is under a supposed speed mode(which does not work). Brake lever cannot be pulled with a person with any kind of hand challenge. This scooter was not designed by a disabled person and clearly never vetted by one. Instruction book has no information on battery withdrawal, placement or weight. Does not describe whether it is lithium or otherwise. Site does not state, or make clear if it does, that the Seller refund policy is only for an unused scooter. (How can you know if it works if you never try it?) These people should not be able to get away with this underhanded manner. Buy this scooter at your own peril. JPM

I love this scooter. I am 71, I weigh 200+ lbs and can lift and load it, haul it up steps. It loads easily into the car as the frame itself is padded where you need to grip it to pick it up. A nice touch.It's quite speedy and with care does not oversteer. The power is all to the rear wheels but that's not difficult to get used to.I use a flat bungee to wrap it on the plane so it won't unfold in the cargo hold.It is a bit difficult to remove the battery which was necessary to get on the plane. The mounting of the place you have to depress which also has a key is hard against the rigid frame and it's difficult to get a key in there and to depress it to remove the battery.I wish the battery had Its size and etc printed on a sticker affixed to it. It's difficult to locate the information about it and I couldn't do it on my phone under duress at the airport. I will write and ask the manufacturer for the information so I can print it and affix it.I also wish the light was an easy disassemble because that was loosened during flight and will repeatedly be that way.I like this one so much that I bought another to replace my wife's older heavier style of portable. This one is fairly priced and with Amazon it can be financed to spread out the payments if you want to.Everyone who sees it wants to know where to get one like it!

I love the way it folds up like a suitcase. The only problem I have found is under powered for my driveway grade, that is why I gave it 4 stars. Long lasting charge for long distance travel.

I ordered black and I received blue. Company offered to send new cushion in black It looks great and is zippy. Easy to operate. I love my new freedom to shop where I want. Gloria e Bodner

This scooter was a lifesaver for me for a 10 day cruise I just took. Besides it’s speed which was better than any other scooter I saw on the cruise, I was always stopped by other people using scooters who admired it’s look and how fast it folded up and unfolded. I felt like I was a salesman for Culver Mobility with all the questions I answered and demonstrations of its speed and compactness. People who had scooters were also impressed with the size and weight of the battery as compared to their own scooter. A number of people who either owned or rented a scooter were going to look into purchasing a Culver Mobility “Cougar” scooter.

My scooter stopped working was promised new battery and charger never cam delays delays until last return date under warentee but no way to reach company this has been going on for 6 weeks spoke with Amazon and culvert customer service number given is not correct

I give it a 3 and not a 5 because we ordered the blue scooter and got red. The raincoat, lock, and pump were not in the delivery. For those who said that it is not powerful, you must have had it in slow mode. It can climb a good slope in the faster mode. It folds up easily.
