I’m very impressed with this maca. Because it is gelatinized it is absorbed better without cooking it. Taste is nutty and coffee- like.

My 18 year old daughter liked using this in her shakes and blended drinks. She said she does feel it gave her a natural energy boost. I think the price was good for the amount since it is just something you add and not the whole drink itself.

Great taste and consistency
Loved this brand of Maca powder. It arrived very fresh and has the right consistency in powder for mto make it easy to scoop up and measure. The taste was very mild and gave the right consistency to my morning drinks. Finally, it gave me the energy I've come to expect from adding Maca to my welness routine.

Maca Powder
I've never used this type of product, so I didn't know what to expect. When I opened it, for some reason the smell reminded me of the dentist's office! I don't know why. After my being exposed for a few seconds, the aroma became pleasant. I tasted it. It tasted fine. Now I've used it on my honey nut breakfast cereal, and it also tasted very nice; it added a bit of extra taste to the cold cereal. I like the resealable bag it comes in. Also required by me is that it is certified kosher. If you don't keep kosher, for you it means there are no animal products or byproducts, not shell fish, and in this instance no dairy products. It also means it is manufactured on machinery that isn't also used for the aforementioned. Bottom line: if you want Maca powder, I would definitely suggest you give this one a try.

Earthy and powdery!
Earthy smell and taste (it tastes the way it smells). It is very powdery so when you open it there will be a dust cloud. The powder does not dissolve as well as I would like. I added it to orange juice and mixed it and there were small pockets that did not dissolve well. I guess if you blend it into a smoothie as suggested you may not notice this issue. I'm hoping the benefits outweigh this minor issue.
