Awesome Lock! FITS PENSKE MOVING TRUCK!
I bought this lock because of an upcoming move. I Wanted something heavy duty, high security, yet a reasonably priced. Master mastered it with this one. Yes there are still videos on YouTube of experts picking it, and one of a guy with monster bolt cutters and he is literally jumping and sitting on it just to barely make it through this locks' thick shaft. My main concern was this large of a lock fitting on the back of my Penske moving truck. It does perfectly without extra room to spare. and the is no way anybody could get in there with bolt cutters and even if they could they would not be able to exert the amount of force mr. youtube did by jumping on it 2 dozen times to get through. and with the extra pins in the locking mech, along with the different keyed locks, no joe shmoe, or thug could walk up and conquer this thing. They wouldn't even waste their time. Just the mere looks and weight of this lock are enough to scare most away. I would highly recommend this lock, especially if you're planning on moving and using a Penske truck.

The best for the cost, dependible and strong
This is most likely the strongest lock Master Lock makes, I have used this as a bike lock down town on a street notorious for having bikes stolen. The lock has been left outside in snow and rain and exposed to the road salt for over 3 years. It looks like crap now very rusted and tarnished but it always works, doesn’t matter if it’s 5 degrees outside and it’s at the bottom of a snow bank it has always opened and locked for me. Also this lock is practically immune to 36” bolt cutters which is very impressive, fire department was training on how to combat padlocks with their special tools, all padlocks broke in seconds, except this one, it took over 12 min of 3 men pounding away at it none stop with pry bars and sledge hammers extremely impressive. (note this is not an ultra-high security padlock, it is pickable and 48” bolt cutters will defeat it. Look for Abus / Abloy if you want a lock better than this)

Heavy Duty Lock!
We initially got this lock for a 26 foot Penske trailer we had moving cross country. It fit perfectly. We use it now for our storage unit. Extremy heavy duty lock with a nice weight to it. Super nice quality. Would highly recommend.

Heavy duty lock!
I ended up returning it because it was way too big. But the quality is second to none!

Hefty...should intimidate the most stoic thief!
As other reviewers have already stated, this is one stout padlock! It exudes toughness, and mechanically has a quality feel to it. I'm tempted to try cutting one of these with my best 32" bolt cutters, but have thus far resisted that consumer test. I'm confident my acetylene torch would make short work of one of these though. Hey, locks are for keeping honest folk honest...the other nasty hooligans will do what they wish anyway! For me, the real test will be the lock's ability to not freeze up in cold weather. As I've not used my three locks through a winter yet, a review update will be forthcoming. I have noticed some very minor rust occurring on the ends of the shackles which is disappointing. Like so many other items that were truly well manufactured in yester-year, it is likely that this 930DPF is a good as it gets in 2012. Coincidentally, I still use a similarly beefy padlock that my Great Aunt bought in the 1930's - it has never rusted, never frozen and essentially works as good as new. Someone will have to wait 80 years to see if this 930DPF is as durable.Update 5/2013: Two of my three 930DPF locks are positioned so that they are mostly exposed to weather. The third is outdoors, but relatively sheltered. All locks were kept silicon based oiled during the winter. The two outside locks did not freeze up during a wet, cold winter. Having the key entry positioned at the bottom saves having to thaw key entry points, but also the shanks themselved did not freeze to the lock body. Other locks I have in similar exposed applications froze many times during the same winter. The slight surface rust stabilized on the two outside locks - that rust is very superficial but still disturbing appreciating the cost and supposedly quality of the locks. I'm still pleased with these locks...they just feel well made, from heft to lock mechanism. Are they as good as my previously mentioned Great Aunt's lock....no way...but then again neither is my modern toaster, blender, tractor, or shop tools relative to their older counterparts. I guess that is what is termed by marketing and manufacturing folk as "progress".

good lock, decent price
Pretty good heavy duty lock and intimidating for amateur thieves but from videos I've seen, it is pretty easily picked. I'm not too worried about that in my area. More or less, when my garage is locked and someone sees this big boron steel bad boy hanging there, they will probably move on. In some high theft areas, I wouldn't trust it, especially if you are trying to keep something very expensive safe. In that case I would invest in a high quality big name lock that is proven and has better quality inner components.

Incredibly strong case housing an easily pickable lock
The steel housing is heavy duty and looks impressive. However the high number of standard pins means it can be picked in a matter of moments by a professional (15 Mins after opening packaging I got an open with single pin picking. Some people can rake these locks open in seconds)The best use for this lock is for Locksport/security professionals who want to learn how to disassemble locks and put them back together, or for use in creating challenge locks.

The best.
Indestructible and intimidating visual deterrent. Smooth key operation/opening. Shank is fat so be sure this will fit whatever you want to lock up.
